Ville portuaire assez importante, port de pêche et de commerce. Le centre et le fort surplombant la ville valent une visite, assez urbanisée. Les plages sont réduites et plutôt bondées en été. Si vous souhaitez vous rendre sur les plages Galapos, Galapinhos la route est fermée l été. Vous devez vous garer et prendre une navette, pas simple. Nous avons pris la route des hauteurs pour rejoindre Pinharo de Arrabida puis nous sommes garés et avons marché 20 min pour rejoindre une jolie plage type méditerranéennemais avec une eau à 18 degrés. Cote plage vous pouvez rejoindre la côte Atlantique du côté de Sesimbra ( praia do meco etc..). Nous sommes allés à l estuaire mais n avons pas pris le bateau pour voir les dauphins. Vous pouvez aller voir le moulin à marée il y a quelques petites balades.

A cidade não tem muito o que mostrar. A serra é bonita e merece ser visitada! Possui vários restaurantes onde você poderá escolher o que comer.
