I led a group through this escape room who enjoyed it much more than I did, so it's possible that escape rooms are just not my cup of tea. I will try to give a balanced review of the positives and the negatives. Positives: * The escape room features the actors from Sherlock reprising their respective roles. That was very cool and probably the best thing about it. * The set up at the beginning was very atmospheric and thematic. Quite enjoyed the Stamfords - nice touch. Negatives: * The worst thing about this escape room was its end. The member of staff waiting for us after we completed the escape room actually told my group that they had failed, rubbed it in, and did her utmost to make them feel bad about it. Mind you, the group solved all the puzzles, but we did not manage to do so in the allocated time of one hour. I was rather shocked by this. This escape room is not an exam. Its purpose is to have fun. Congratulating us on completing the escape room would have been far more appropriate and certainly kinder and more in the spirit of the game. Instead, the member of staff seemed intent on ruining the experience for us. Then, after trying her best to make us feel bad, she tried to push some over-priced photographs. I don't know who thought this would be an appropriate ending to an otherwise enjoyable experience, but whoever it was clearly needs to reconsider their assumptions. * Two of the puzzles did not work properly. In two puzzles, numbers need to be inputed. In both cases, we inputed the right numbers but they failed to register. We wasted a lot of time as a result because we thought we had got it wrong. We only discovered that the puzzles were malfunctioning when we tried to input those same numbers again and they worked the second time around. All that being said, my group had a great time so clearly those issues bothered them far less than they bothered me.

What an amazing game! The actors are all so professional and just like we were in the role with them. It was a fun escape room! I would highly recommend it. I have a 11 and 14 year old who loved the game. From the very start where you wait for your game to start, up until the end was all a great experience.

My friend and I had very good experience! Staffs were very friendly and made the atmosphere very nice. We failed the last room but it was not very difficulty. I think a 2-people team might need longer time, so it will better to group a 4 people team. I highly recommend this experience. And you can use London pass. The location is close to holland park and Kensington palace. It will be lovely to visit these three locations in one afternoon. Besides, one staff with black curly hair is very gorgeous. I think he can cosplay Sherlock☺️ I dont know his name as all staffs' name is Stamford.

Fantastic experience for those who love the TV show but also for those who've never watched it! Fun puzzles, lovely staff and brilliant atmosphere with a great bar to relax in after.

We had a great experience. Went as a family of 4 and played a private game. This was our first Escape Room experience and it didnt disappoint. The staged rooms, from the private entrance to the bar were amazing and the clues took some working out! However we managed it all between us and rewarded ourselves with a cocktail in the Mind Palace afterwards. Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved the whole ambiance of this escape room. The staff were amazing, the puzzles were fantastic and really required a team effort, the shop was reasonably priced and the drinks in the mind palace were delightful ( we had the Moriarty cocktail and the Mycroft cocktail). This is a must for any Sherlock fan and and a must for anyone who enjoys a good puzzle. Worth every penny!!!

The entrance through the opticians was really fun and all the stamfords were really nice, kept in character the whole experience. The actual rooms were a good level of difficulty with lines from actors in the show, which made us feel more in the story. The bar has reasonable prices, unlike other experiences based on IP like this one. Defo worth the price

Great experience, had lots of fun. Memorable one. The staff are full committed helping the immersive experience. Hint: the game starts in finding the place, ignore silly reviews about not being able to find it. good luck! :))

We should have probably leave already on beginning before even entering the bar. Waste of our time, as we had only one night in London. Got tickets for this game from our friend. We had no problem to find the place. But when we rang for the appointment, we been asked for “password” - which we didn’t had - wasn’t on the tickets we been given from our friend ( not their fault). But what we found super rude was, that the woman left us stood outside of the place until some people, who been just leaving the place told us, that there should be password and when we explained them the situation and showed them the tickets, they kindly helped us with their password ( which wasn’t correct for our appointment, but at least the woman bothered to talk to us at that point) When we entered the bar, we been given instructions. And been surprised, that when we went to the bar for drinks, we been allowed have only one drink per person - so choose wisely as it’s the only one for whole evening. We believe, that there was lots of issues with their “cases”. For first time we rang, because we opened luggage of first case only from one side. But couldn’t open the other side. Wasted on that so much time. So we decided to ask about that the guy working and he told us “should open together” and left. So we just took everything one from one side, otherwise we couldn’t continue. Went to the case n.3 and rang one more time for help. Because we wanted to ask, if there is no issue with equipment again. When we saw, what faces is the staff giving us, we just decided to leave before the end and not completely ruin our evening there. We met 3 members of the staff, and all of them looked so bothered by having us there (maybe they didn’t like the fact, that our reservation was evening and they wanted just go home as we been obviously last booking that day) We definitely won’t go back or recommend to anyone. Giving one star just for the cocktail, for customer service wouldn’t be even 0 low enough.

We did this experience as a multigenerational trip with teenagers and grandparents. The rooms were the right level of challenge and difficulty to give us all a good challenge, sense urgency and achievement. The experience itself was great and we had no issues finding Doyle’s Optician in the W12 shopping centre. If I had any suggestions, the bar is looking tired and was a bit messy (ie old teas and crumbs on tables), so could do with a regular tidy up. Also the photo might be better later as more in the spirit of it, and it was a shame they did not do one for the whole group as the photographer knew we were in two teams. We did not have any issues with the props but some are looking a little tired (ie writing on combination locks looking difficult to read), so it might be worth refreshing them.
