During the Li-River cruise, if you are picked up from a Guilin hotel, the cruise will depart from the Caoping area, which is closer to Guilin city center. However, if you are picked up from a Yangshuo hotel, the cruise will depart from the Xingping area, which is closer to Yangshuo center. Remember that children under 7 years old or 1.2 meters tall are not permitted on the small boat. Additionally, seniors over 70 years old are also advised against taking the small boat.
