This was a wonderful full day, small group tour of eight people. The meeting point was a five minute walk from our hotel in Montecatini Terme. Valerie was our guide and she was knowledgeable, personable and made sure we experienced it all. We were driven to each location in an air-conditioned touring van. We explored through beautiful Siena and wow…the sights and history! My husband and I had the best pasta at Ristorante Mugolone down one of the side streets from the main square while in Siena. Then onto magnificent San Gimignano where we explored the town, the towers, and the beautiful views of the countryside from the top as Valerie continued to fill our ears with pertinent information and history. We then headed through the beautiful Tuscan countryside to Palagetto Winery. After a short presentation, we indulged in delicious meats, pecorino cheese, honey and spreads while we tasted their delicious wines. Valerie has extensive wine knowledge and was fantastic in her explanations, details and pairing suggestions. It was a perfect intimate wine tasting in San Giminiano! We ended up ordering a case of their Chianti and had it shipped home to California at a very reasonable shipping cost. We all hopped back in the van and Valerie drove us back to our hotels. I can’t express again how wonderful Valerie was, so kind, so personal, so knowledgeable and she made that day extra for the two of us! Grazie mille Valerie!

Tania was an excellent tour guide!! A wealth of information for Sienna, San Gimignano and along the drive. She even taught us so much at the wine tasting! We loved this tour. Can't say enough good things about it. I'd highly recommend it to anyone.

Our host Valerie was exceptional...she made the day. We learned so much...this is A MUST DO trip! We enjoyed this much more than Florence for its uniqueness and charm.

Tanyia was an excellent tour guide and very friendly. We also had a great time with the people we met on the tour. I travelled with my two sons and they also thoroughly enjoyed their day. I would highly recommend this trip.

Transportation was in a small van with no space to sit easy. I would not go with this tour very hard to in and out . Renting a car and travel on your own is much better way.

very good van, excellent driver, very good English spoken by the guide; but above all this interesting and beautifully presented information - vast knowledge about the cities visited and about wines and in general about farms - we will definitely come back

Enjoyed this tour today. It is pricy but well worth it to explore further in Tuscany from Montecatini than you can get on the train. Valerie was an excellent guide, and I was particularly grateful for her extra consideration when I mentioned both my mum and I have hearing difficulties. Time keeping was spot on, and enjoyed visiting both San Gimignano and Siena.

Great day out, very happy to have enjoyed this experience. Valerie was a very friendly and capable guide and driver. Timekeeping was spot on. Started off at San Gimignano which was highlight of the holiday for me. Loved the sights and atmosphere and enjoyed the obligatory gelato. Would have loved to have seen it in the evening when the market wasn't there but can't complain. Didn't expect much from the wine tasting experience but really enjoyed this too complete with the nibbles. Finished off at Siena with its magnificent square and an escorted tour with Barbara which was very interesting. A fabulous day out and a brilliant way to see 2 fantastic places that were otherwise quite inaccessible from where we were staying. Yes, it's expensive but no regrets from us.

Tanya was a great guide. Very knowledgeable. Good English speaking. Easy to understand. Would have preferred to go to Siena first and then San Gimignano second. Would have been nice to spend more time in San Gimignano.

Valerie did an excellent job of leading this small group of 8 people. She found special places that we would never have explored if we had been on our own.
