You also will have a chance to briefly exit the tour bus at The Battery and get a view of Charleston Harbor and Fort Sumter. Escape the heat, as our tours are conducted on a new sightseeing bus with a super cold air-conditioner. You are assured of receiving that "personal touch" since all tours are conducted by the owner who's family sailed into Charleston Harbor in 1740.

Battery & White Point Gardens

We briefly exit the bus at The Battery to get a view of our beautiful homes, the historic harbor and Fort Sumter.

Company was bought out by another company and they did not have us booked on the tour even though it was paid. The next available tour was 1 1/2 hours later. Mixed up our day. However once we were on the tour it was great.

Was there early. Business name changed so was different on bus. Once directed to correct bus after asking was not allowed on bus. Driver kept doors closed even though three of us waiting with tickets and it was ten minutes prior to scheduled board time. Bus pulled away leaving us there. They were unable to accommodate us on another bus. Very disappointed for my visiting family. Staff was indifferent. Still waiting for refund.

Southern Accent Tours was bought out by someone else. So I didn’t go on a tour with Southern Accent Tours. It would have been REALLY helpful to know that I needed to look for a different named bus.

I bought bus tour tickets through Tripadvisor (Southern Accent Tours) and when we got to the bus tour, the tour guide did not have us on the list and it was overbooked. So, we were unfortunately not allowed to go on the tour (actually removed from the bus). I immediately called Southern Accent Tour and explained the situation and what happened. Shortly thereafter, I got an email stating I would receive a credit within 3 to 5 business days. So, if you order tickets through them, just know you may or may not get to go on the tour.
