Be aware that they enforce the time slot rule vigorously. I booked for a 2.30 timeslot and because of delays in transport and the time taken to get up a really steep hill(I'm 81) I didn't arrive until 2.55. Then I waited in the wrong queue because there were no signs indicating where to go. Finally I attendant directed me to go straight to the entrance where I arrived at 3.10. I was refused entry and told that I would need to reschedule for a cost of 9 Euros three hours later. That did not fit my schedule so I paid for a visit that didn't happen and received no refund. I wasted a day on the journey to Sintra.

Excellent Guide. Always looking out for the group and giving lots of local history! Appreciate all the extra time he took when I was not able to make the hills

The heraldic room at Sintra Palace was just stunning. Peña palace really beautiful. While tour was very interesting, just enough commentary and really friendly and helpful guide (Miguel). Highly recommend this tour.

Excellent small group tour with Miguel. There was a good mix of group and free time. Miguel even provided local treats as it’s an early morning- a very nice gesture. It’s a full day but highly recommended!

The tour guide was great, Pena Palace was amazing., and we got to stop and see the ocean which was beautiful. We loved having free time to explore the areas and take pictures, and we loved being guided and having some interesting facts about the palace. We arrived early which was a great choice by our guide as we got pictures before a bunch of people flooded the areas. Regaleira was high on my list, but the line for the well was INSANELY long and there's no way our time allowed us to see it despite paying for entry. I'd recommend a tour that does not include Regaleira unless it's the first stop on the itinerary.

The sites visited were very interesting. Miguel was excellent! He was friendly, informative and helpful, and accommodating to our needs. His suggestions were excellent. We were gone from hotel pickup at 7:30 to dropoff at 18:30. A little longer than expected, but traffic, weather, and wait time for the group contribute to the trip length.

Jaime was a great host, he’s knowledge of the area and Portugal was amazing. Thanks for a wonderful day, my family had a great day.

Miguel was an excellent guide, I ended up doing a solo tour since the other people canceled. I learned a lot from Miguel both about the sites on the tour and Portugal's history, as well as about his own experiences. I have never been on another tour where I was able to talk so much with the guide and have great conversations. In addition to handling all the logistics for the today and giving me advice on what to see and for how long, Miguel made the trip more enjoyable than if I'd done it myself on the train since I could ask him all the questions I wouldn't have been able to figure out otherwise. I would recommend this tour to anyone, whether you're solo or in a group!

Miguel was the best! He knew all the beat spots and was super responsive all along the way. I would use him again and again.

Not just a tour of the Pena Palace, but we also got to go to Cabo Raso, Cascais and the town of Sintra. Our guide, Jamie was wonderful! He really knew his history and gave us helpful tips and advice for the rest of our trip. He also made sure our experience was safe and comfortable, and he made sure we got the most out of our day. We were only with another couple, so it was a really unique and personal experience, and we had some great laughs along the way too. We would 100% do it again!
