What to expect
National Palace of Queluz
Possibility to visit the National Palace of Queluz. It constitutes a heritage set of reference in Portuguese architecture and landscaping and contains an important collection from the court in the 18th and 19th centuries, covering the Baroque, Rocaille and Neoclassical periods.
Park and National Palace of Pena
Sintra is a town very rich in palaces, the choice of which palaces to visit is yours alone. The guide will give you information about all of them and together you will decide the most suitable one(s) for you, in a wide variety that goes from Pena Palace, Moorish Castle and Quinta da Regaleira, etc. (entrance not included).
Centro Historico de Sintra
The enchanted village of… Sintra, a small village but with a large concentration of historical monuments and interesting tourist attractions. In Sintra, there are several national monuments, including unique palaces, ancient ruins and palatial houses scattered across the hills of the region, interesting paths for pedestrians. Getting to know its historic center, especially Pastelaria Piriquita (one of Sintra's attractions), with the famous typical sweets Travesseiros, which make us dream, especially on the coldest days typical of Sintra's microclimate
National Palace of Sintra
Possibility of visiting the National Palace of Sintra, located in the historic center of the village, which was inhabited for almost eight centuries by Portuguese monarchs and the court. It was widely used, especially during the Middle Ages, for support during hunting periods, or during the summer months, due to the milder climate of the village.
Farol do cabo da Roca
Cabo de Roca is the westernmost point of the European continent, where the Earth ends and the sea begins, as Luís de Camões wrote (in Os Lusíadas, Canto VIII), the Lighthouse, 165 meters high, dates from 1772, here we can see the immensity of the Atlantic Ocean, revealing one of the most emblematic places in Portugal.
Boca do Inferno
The name “Boca do Inferno” attributed to this place is due to the morphological analogy and the tremendous and frightening impact of the waves there.
Cascais
Free time to explore Cascais with a wide beach and very picturesque streets that make the city a place much visited by tourists, a mixture of a fishing village with a luxury spot with many restaurants serving fresh fish and seafood. Between the bay and the mountains of Sintra, in the 19th century Cascais was the place chosen by the royal family for holidays, which ended up taking the nobility, in the historic center, there are many shops and restaurants.
Casino Estoril
The return to Lisbon will be made along the beaches of the line, with a panoramic view of Estoril, famous for its Casino (the largest gambling hall in Europe) and for the fact that author Yan Fleming wrote the first 007 novel, “ Casino Royale”, during the 2nd world war here. We will return to Lisbon along the “Marginal” road, enjoying breathtaking views of the ocean.
The experience can be subject to change due to bad weather or unforseen circumstances. We always endeavour to give you the best possible experience.
