This trip was amazing! Francisco was our tour guide and Arthur aka King Arthur was our driver. Both ensured we saw the best views and attractions in Caiscais and Sintra. Pena Palace tour was the main event with unmatched views and beautiful architecture. I would highly recommend this excursion with Francisco and Arthur specifically!

Ricardo and Arthur were excellent guide and driver, very generous of tips and histories about the places we visited; fado, restaurants, typical food of Portugal, cheapest souvenir options, etc. We really enjoyed our one-day tour with them, despite a capricious weather! We recommend.

This tour exceeded my husband’s and my expectations! The amount of history the guides knew of everything was truly impressive and exactly what we wanted out of the day. The Peña Palace tour was fantastic and beautiful. And it was great to go so early, because if we had shown up even 30 minutes later, we would have been in a long line. Sintra village was quaint and cute. Fun to pop into the shops and take pictures. Cascais is a beautiful beachside town. Another great stop for a few shops and photos. We had a little bit of a tour around there, but ultimately this stop was to get on the boat. Now the word “sailing” to us as American’s made us think we’d be in a large sail boat. However, we were in more of a cabin cruiser. We loved it! The captain had great stories about Portugal, surfing, the coastline, etc. It was a great boat to be on when the wind can get chilly. We could sit up top for amazing views, on the back deck to avoid some of the wind, or in the cabin to stay warm and watch through the window. Blankets were offered as well if we wanted to stay outside the whole time. The whole day was a great way to see as much as we could since we were in Lisbon for only a few days. Highly recommend this tour!

O transporte ate sintra foi bastante confortavel e em segurança. Sintra é um local mágico e cheio de historia. O palacio da pena tem uma mistura de estilos arquitectónicos como nunca antes visto. Foi muito bom chegar cedo para evitar as enormes filas que se acumulam. Se tivessemos chegado meia hora depois a experiencia nao teria sido tao boa. Adoramos o passeio em barco por cascais e o guia esteve sempre atento e disposto a ajudar em tudo. Muito obrigado!
