This bike tour was spectacular. You see every aspect of Lisbon from Forest to beach to cities and small villages. Our tour guide Rodrigo was very knowledgeable, relaxed and very helpful throughout the trip. We will be honest if you don’t take this full day bike trip you are simply missing out on the best Lisbon views and adventure!

We had a great time in Sintra and the sea coast. Our guide Rodrigo was supper caring and very knowledgeable. The lunch was the best so far and the food was delicious. The bikes were super cool and comfortable for a long distance. I enjoyed the tour because it is mixture of nature, small authentic places, nice sea views. In the end of the tour you are full of postive emotions. I definitely recommend this tour!

Professionally run. The e-bikes are incredible. Lots of fun and laughs with our guides, Rodrigo and Leo. Sintra is quite a good stop. Also a wonderful cafe for lunch stop. Would do it again!

Miguel was such a fun guide and made our trip wonderful. He took us around so many beautiful sights and we saw so much. We stopped at a village to try local treats at a bakery and shopping. We later stopped at a local restaurant and sampled various foods with our final stretch along the water and beach with many windsurfers to see. I would recommend this tour to anyone who loves adventure on a bike. Thanks, Miguel

This was a great off the beaten path trip to Sintra and Cascais. We didn’t spend too much time at the typical touristy spots and local guide Rodrigo was awesome at sharing with us his personal experiences with the region. If you get Rodrigo, you know you’re in good hands.

My wife and I travel quite a bit and in each destination we visit one of our must does is a half or full-day bike tour. Lisbon is no different. As soon as we booked our trip we started reviewing the various bike tour companies and their offerings. We chose Free Bike Tours Lisbon first because of its ratings and second because their full-day Sintra/Cascais Tour seemed to be exactly what we were looking for. Well, they didn’t disappoint. Our guide was Rodrigo and he went well above and beyond to make sure all of our expectations were not only met but exceeded. In our case, this may have been easier than for other groups as there was only four of us - my wife and I, a gentleman from Belfast and a young lady from Atlanta. Although we didn’t go into the castles or palaces in Sintra - we weren’t looking to so on this tour - we saw them all from afar. What this tour provided was a fun and active way to see the town of Sintra and the area itself. Afterwards we rode through the Sintra forest and then headed to the coast to see some amazing beaches and the lovely, quaint town of Cascais. It was an amazing trip, definitely one of the best we’ve ever done, but we feel Rodrigo played a huge hand in making it so. Having said that, from the train ride to Sintra, Sintra itself, the ride through the forest, the stunning beaches and finally Cascais, the variety and beauty of all the areas was enough to make the tour one of our most memorable. Rodrigo, for your part, thank you for going above and beyond; We’ll never forget this bike tour.

Perfect from start to finish. Rodrigo was happy to go wherever we wanted and made sure we got the best out of the trip. Nice breakfast and lunch. We saw the most amazing sights and he made sure we were safe. This was a great tour for us as we wanted to see the attractions but weren’t interested in going into them. Much better if you know how to ride a bike and are confident but I don’t think it’s essential as he said other riders have been less confident. Highly recommend

We - a group of 8 long-time friends - had a great day on e-Bikes by Free Bike Tours Lisbon, headed by Maya, who took good care of us. Maya had lots to tell about the are, the small villages, about Sintra, the Portuguese lifestyle, food and wine. The start of the tour was through the busy streets of Lisbon to the Rossio station for the train to Sintra. After a stop in the centre by the royal palace, we headed for the narrow and quite hilly country roads from Sintra towards Cabo da Roca, through cosy small villages and immensely green forests. Lunch was arranged in a tiny cafe (Cafe Ocidente) in Azoia: Great food and wine :-) From there a lot up and down (more down than up) down to the shore northwest of Cascais, and from there along the shoreline. We ended the real tour in Cascais and got some time to stroll about or take a bath (the sea temperature was refreshing - my estimate 17,5 ^C. After the train ride back to Cais do Sodre we biked along the riverfront back to the base after a great day on wheels. The e-Bikes served us well! Thanks!

Absolute memorable day with Rodrigo. We have done several bike tours abroad but this was the best with the best guide! He portrayed safety, care and a fabulous sense of humour. Sights/scenery were sublime... As was the lunch my husband, Rodrigo and I shared in a quaint Portugese Restaurant on Rodrigo's recommendation. Plenty of stops to take photographs and soak up the atmosphere of the special places we visited. We would 100% recommend this tour and bike company - ENJOY...
