    Andres was an amazing tour guide. We got to see so much of Sintra and he was extremely knowledgeable. We got to bike to some very cool places and local.

    We had an amazing private e-bike tour with Tomas. Five stars *****. This was the highlight of our 8 days in Lisbon and the surrounding areas. It was so much fun, the bikes are easy to use and make light work of those hills! We explored Sintra and then the coast with Tomas, and his local input and knowledge made it a much more authentic experience than just wandering through the beautiful, but over-populated main attractions of Sintra. Thank you Tomas!

    This was the most amazing and fun tour and i cannot recommend it more highly as we saw all of the wonderful monuments Sintra had to offer with a very friendly and informative guide Tomas. It was such fun and so beautiful and the bikes were excellent quality and easy to operate. Tomas was so kind and helpful and I think this has been an absolute highlight of our trip. If you’re coming to Sintra make sure you book this tour.

    I am compelled to write a bad review because of the dangers of this tour. My father and I tried to go on this tour, but had to stop early on because the bikes are outdated and broken. For two bikes the manual gears didn't work properly and the other bike the electric accelerator didn't work. We were too far away from the starting point to change bikes. I've ridden other bikes that are in much better condition, lighter with more power, so assuming these are either old or inexpensive models. Furthermore, they barely give any instruction on how to use the bike, but instead you start on a very busy street going up a hill. We were on the tour with two women, who also stopped because of how dangerous it was. When I complained, they said they would review the situation and decide whether to give me a refund. When I was complaining, they asked how old my Dad was (he's in his 70s). My father is perfectly capable of riding a bike that is working and instead of focusing on that, they were looking for excuses. I've followed up on the evaluation and refund, but no response. I am researching how to report this company to a Portuguese government agency regarding tourist safety.

    After about a half hour, we had only ridden maybe half a mile due to the other companions who had trouble using the bike which took time and energy away from the event. I ended up leaving the tour early so we could do our own walking event. Unfortunate that this happened but still a beautiful area to view.

    Palacio e Parque Biester

    Running away from the mass tourism that currently exists in Sintra’s top attractions (Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira for exemple) we visit this stunning property, that has just opened gates for visitores (it was a private property for more than 100 years, you will be the first visitores). A fascinating building with na imense garden (park), a cultural labyrinth with lot’s misteries and secrets to discover. Biester Palace & Park, the film set from Johny Depp’s “Ninth Gate” THE FILM SET FOR JOHNNY DEPP’S ‘NINTH GATE’ and one of Luigi Manini creations is a landmark for Sintra, and is one of the first buildings and finest examples of chalets of its kind. Surronding this piece of revivalist architectur – a vast garden including waterfalls, view points (with the best views of all of Sintra’s attractions) , pieces of art (famouse Bordalo’s tiles) caves and secret chambers!

    we will pass by Quinta da Regaleira (don’t worry, when the Tour ends you may come back for a visit, we can assist you with the tickets so you avoid lines and give you all the information needed)

    Oh and bring an empty bottle of water to refill at one of the many centenary fountains with the best fresh Sintra water directly from the mountain.
