Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: 1st Republic Brewing Co, 39 River Rd Suite 6, Essex, VT 05452-3879
These breweries are sample itineraries only. All schedules are subject to change. The founders of 1st Republic Brewing, Shawn Trout and Mike Drake, both served on active duty and with distinction overseas before returning to Vermont to serve up some of the best Veteran crafted brews. In fact, 1st Republic was voted 2018’s VT Veteran Owned Small Business of the Year. They love everything about beer from brewing it to drinking it to teaching about it and to sharing it. Friends, family, and beer lovers can gather ’round the taproom for fun, games, locally delivered food, and raising a glass to good beer and good times.
Duration: 50 minutes
Stop At: Queen City Brewery, 703B Pine St, Burlington, VT 05401-4921
Founded in 2014 by long-time friends and brewers Paul Hale, Paul Held, Phil Kaszuba, and Maarten van Ryckevorsel, Queen City Brewery brews a variety of traditional ales and lagers, as well as several unique specialty beers with a focus on giving the customer a unique experience with unexpected notes in their beers that they’ve aged and fermented to produce complex flavors unlike anything you’ve ever tasted. (So yeah, we’re pretty much changing your life by bringing you here. No need to thank us.) On our tour, you’ll see why this foursome rose to frothy success as you sip your way through their suds, including a rare style they brew call ‘Steinbeer’ that’s brewed with hot rocks. The process grants less temperature control to the brewer and imparts a smoky, caramel flavor. Yep, we’ll say it again: life-changing.
Duration: 50 minutes
Stop At: Zero Gravity Craft Brewery, 716 Pine St, Burlington, VT 05401-4922
Founded in 2004, Zero Gravity Brewing was born inside a restaurant that Flatbread head brewer, Destiny Saxon, and Zero Gravity brewmaster, Paul Sayler, created called American Flatbread Burlington Hearth. For years, they brewed exclusively out of the brewpub location, but as their popularity and demand grew, in 2012, they began distributing Zero Gravity for off-premise sales, and two years later, they had fully maxed out the production at the Flatbread Brewpub. Forced to find more space, they moved operations to a beautiful 30-barrel facility in Burlington’s South End Arts District, and in the spring of 2015, the Pine Street Brewery was born.

One of the best! It was so much more than just getting to drink beer!! It was a true deep dive into the birth and development of beer! Extremely professional and clearly exceeded our expectations!! Makayla did the play by play and Frank handled the color commentary. So friggin much fun! You will not come close to disappointment in any manner. A+++
City Brew Tour was such a fun experience. Our guide Mikala did an excellent tour, complete with beer trivia on the bus ride and polling participants for preferences. The breweries were neat, clean and friendly accommodating us with different beer selections. The food stop was also wonderful. Pizza at the Barnyard.
Beer! Pizza! More beer! But the real treasure was Camden, the most knowledgeable and engaging brew tour guide on the planet. We had a good time and maybe even learned something.
Camden was an amazing beer guide and taught our group so much about the beer making process. Our large group of UVM alumnis had a blast on the tour and the beer was amazing! Camden was a friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable guide. Can’t wait to do it again next time we’re in Burlington!
Our group celebrated a few of our thirtieth birthdays in Burlington; City Brew Tours was the right choice! Our guide Camden was stellar, highly recommend!
Camden made our experience so great! He was super funny and knowledgable. Would love to bring another group back next time we’re in Burlington!
