    A little more expensive than expected but a great experience overall. There many excellent botanical gardens in Hawaii that don't charge an entrance fee. The chocolate tasting was the main difference from the many other botanical gardens I have been to in Hawaii. Wish they had more flower plants and orchids on the grounds to exhibit. Tour guides are respectful, courteous and really knew their stuff.

    Excellent experience. Our guide, Troy, was fantastic. The gardens were impressive, and the chocolate tasting was informative and delicious! Absolutely worth it.

    Our group led by Rob had an amazing time. The scenery was wonderful, the shared knowledge was welcomed. Very impressive, never have seen the variety in a single location. The chocolate tasting was a hit. Princeville chocolate was the best.

    An amazing slice of an amazing Kauaian ecosystem. Our tour guide, Sherry, brought a deep and humorous perspective to our group and we learned many things! Thanks to the volunteers and employees of Princeville Botanical Gardens for making our last day in Kauai so special!

    An amazing experience!! Rob was truly an awesome guide and you could easily tell how much he loved and knew the plants and the culture. Definitely worth the trip!!

    Princeville Botanical Gardens

    Begin the tour by exploring the upper terraces and the uses of the plants living in Waimea Valley. Find exotic flowers, rare medicinals, happy honey hives and t the bottom of the valley, small cacao grove thrives. Here, taste some raw chocolate nibs and learn about how chocolate is grown and harvested. When you leave the Valley, head to our outdoor chocolate tasting area, where you'll learn about modern and historical chocolate processing methods. You'll sample at least 5 different single-origin chocolates from around the world. After relaxing in the shade and enjoying the chocolate, back on your feet to explore our Anini Creek valley, another wonderland of rare plants, stunning topography, and fascinating sustainable cultivation techniques.
