Fun little trip to the redwoods, a beautiful little place to sit and relax or take a short hike in the woods before returning to Fort Bragg.

Fun trip with a nice break midway. On the break we took a mile hike through beautiful redwoods. You could bring a nice lunch on the break. There is a covered pavilion and lots of seating.

A fun trip! "Johnny" provided the music at Glen Blair and he is great. Well organized - the only line was upon arrival when everyone was getting their beverages. After that it was smooth sailing! Staff are great - they seem to be having as much fun as everyone else - which is a great vibe.

We took the Friday night Fort Bragg trip to the Glen Blair bar which was really fun!! You have a designated time going there, but then have choices about which train to ride back. On the ride there, food and drinks are offered and the views are lovely. The bar is in a very cool huge open-air structure in a beautiful redwood grove. There are fire pits, and heaters, along with chairs, picnic tables and large scale Jenga, Connect 4 and Cornhole games. The atmosphere is very laid back and friendly. On Saturday we took the 3.5 mile hike, mostly along the tracks, to the same bar, then rode the train back. We had a very informative guide who knew a lot about the area's history, logging industry, plants and animals. A yummy packed lunch is included, in a souvenir cooler bag. All the Skunk Train employees were very polite and friendly; there were kids and dogs on both our trips and I would recommend everyone take a ride!! I would like to now take a Willits trip, because they seem longer, and the terrain there is different.

Great trip with the grandsons! Love the popcorn buckets with the lids! Weather was warm and sunny! Kids loved the giftshop.

It was a fantastic experience for a family of 4! Perfect for my 12 & 14 year old kids. The views were great, the ride was relaxing and the weather was nice and sunny. The .9 mile hike in the redwoods was a nice way to get the full experience and a memorable experience to share with my family. We even got a nice pic of the famous costal banana slug.

Very mediocre!! The only reason why I did it was because I thought if I did it, I would miss out on something would’ve rather kept the money

This train ride was our fav. to date! We loved the scenery, length and being able to stop at the Glen Blair area for a hike! My kids are still talking about it.

This was so fun with dogs! Despite the pouring rain we boarded the train and settled in to an enclosed car. Then a shift in the weather happened when we reached the pavilion and the sun came out. Super dog friendly and well worth the money. This a was a bucket list thing for us!

We visited Ft Bragg on a rainy weekend and thought this would be a good activity to stay out of the rain but still enjoy nature. The ride was enjoyable. It’s nice that you can move about freely and walk amongst the trains, both inside and out. They do sell beverages and snacks in the main car. A small tree was obstructing the tracks so we took a short break while they sawed off some branches, that was kind of a cool experience. I don’t think I realized we stopped for so long (45 min) at the turn around point. However, the area was covered and had heaters so it was fine. It would be really nice on a drier, warm day to hike around that area. I’m glad we took the ride but once is probably enough for us.
