Like having a private driver who knows all the best routes and can tell you the history of what you are seeing. Liked the SkyWalk trip so much had a further two trips because didn’t feel we were being rushed to move on and Ricky knew all the best places for views and being a Tuk Tuk could always park

The best way to visit Cabo Girao and Camara de Lobos. Our Guide, Ricardo, was wonderful! He was fun and interesting, we never felt rushed and got some great photos! Would definitely recommend TukTuking!

Conveniently situated close to the cruise terminal we were in ‘our’ tuktuk with the excellent Ricardo within minutes of leaving the ship. I was surprised at both the power and relative comfort of the machinery. Two of us enjoyed a 3 hour trip visiting the skywalk and a fishing village nearby. A full commentary was supplied in perfect English - and it was not intrusive. Some free time available and never any pressure to return. We will use him again when we return to Madeira on a future cruise if the weather is fine - which in our experience it usually is especially in the morning. Cost was 40euro per person and about the only negative encountered was that payment was requested in cash something we rarely carry. But of course there are plenty of cash machines to choose from! Something a bit different and good fun.

This is on one of the highest cliffs in the world. Great view of the ocean. Great for sunsets! It's easy to get to by car and there's probably a bus stop somewhere nearby.

Fantastic trip from start to finish. Knowledgeable guide. Great value. Truly recommend this trip. Thank you Ricky for a fantastic morning.

Cabo Girao Skywalk was worth visiting. It was easy to park our rented car in the late afternoon. It is better to visit after the main rush of organized bus tours around 4 p.m. The view was excellent with the glass floor! There were also some souvenir shops around and a café. A must!

You can get to the Skywalk a few ways, but I drove there and there's plenty of car parking spaces nearby. Yes it is smaller than I thought, but it was free to enter when I visited, there's some turnstiles to enter the skywalk which I think are closed off in peak season, so you may have to pay a euro or two in the summer months. You are walking on a glass platform above the cliffs & ocean, the views are stunning mainly looking left down the coastline, views to the right are a bit less interesting, I spent around 20 mins here and moved on.

Slightly anti-climatic when you eventually get here and find that the glass platform is quite small. Still, it is free (unless you choose to see it through as part of a tour) and we enjoyed the scenic and occasionally scary drive to the top of Cabo Girao. From the top, you will get incredible views of the sea and countryside. expect to spend no more than 20 or so minutes here.

Glad we took a local bus*here (2.75 euros each way) and did not get whipped up in a frenzy and pay through our noses to a tour company. Yes the view is good, and yes, a bit disconcerting stepping into glass, however we were there for 10 mins only, ..that’s enough as there is nothing else to see or do!! Toilets cost 0.5 euro/ but cost refunded if you buy something in the cafe- so that’s fair enough *Rodoeste bus route - booth selling tickets near McDonalds - along the front
