I opted to book this because of previous reviews and I'm so glad I did instead of the train ride. We were already taking the long train ride from Denali to Anchorage so the bus trip with picture stops along the way sounded better, plus there is a stop at the Tutshi dog sled camp and my grandchildren 12 & 14 recalled enjoyed the puppies. We opted not to take the dog sled ride and instead my grandkids had the puppies all to themselves. The scenery is gorgeous and we stopped for pictures near the Alaska sign and travelled into British Columbia and the Yukon. I don't think the train does that! Loved our driver, Joe! Very friendly and knowledgeable.

Adam was an absolute delight on our Skagway, Yukon puppy play tour. We loved all the stops and Adams delightful commentary. He even had a stop at a running waterfall with Alaskan glacier water. He filled our water bottles for us and we got to experience the smooth tastiness of real glacier water. He also secured beautiful family photos in front of the welcome to Alaska and Yukon signs. The puppies were a little bigger than expected at four months old, but the trainers were very sweet and the facility was very knowledgeable. We would’ve booked the actual dog sledding excursion, but it was sold out by the time we Booked. The excursion does take over five hours and we were a little scared we wouldn’t make it back to our ship in time but Adam was awesome and dropped us right at the shuttle. Then proceeded to take the rest of the tour to their preferred drop!

Our family had a great time. Bus was comfortable. Drive was beautiful! Noah was a hilarious and insightful tour guide and knew the area, the people , the puppies all really well! We had a group with a toddler and grandparents. The puppies were not new puppies, more like young huskies, but they were really gentle with our toddler.

Noah our guide is local and a very entertaining speaker giving us the best tour experience of our 15 day trip.

Amanda_S

Noah was a fantastic tour guide! Making sure we got the most of the experience with a lot of other tour companies doing the same thing. Better value than going through cruise ships.

cynthia_b

Amazing scenery, photo stops and Noah shared interesting info about the region. The dog / puppy sledding stop was neat, but stopping for a brown bear to cross the road was the highlight!

Adam was our driver and he did amazing helping people take pictures and finding the best spots for them. The views were amazing. The puppies were pretty tired when we got there ans there was 6 of them at 14 weeks old. It was interesting to see the adults get hooked up and excited and take off.
