I went dog sledding yesterday. The place was set up well and the dogs were really loved and cared for. The dogs wanted to run and pull so bad! They were excitedly barking and jumping until they were given the ok to GO! It was snowing while I was there and it could not have been a more perfect day for a dog run! The musher was the owner of the 12 dogs that pulled us. He was an awesome guide and spoke of how he and his partner rescue sled dogs. She was on site and was super cool too! She has run in many races including the Iditarod. They go over all kinds of info about the dogs and the history of sledding so educational and fun experience all around. 10/10 and I would highly recommend. Fun for the whole family!

Highly recommended!! Amazing experience in nature, riding through the scenic winter backdrop by a team of energetic Alaskan huskies! We also learned so much about the life style that Tekla, Katrina and David have thrived in and how they continue to lead their family legacies. As an extra, Katrina has many entertaining stories that she should be on a podcast. This experience was right up there with seeing the northern lights!

What a wonderful morning we spent learning about the beautiful Alaskan Huskies from our guide, Katrina. We saw lovely scenery on a dogsled pulled by the happy, excited and well trained dogs. I wish I could have ridden it for longer. The staff made us so comfortable providing warm blankets and pillows for the ride and fresh cookies and warm conversation when we returned. Thank you to Katrina and David and Tekla and their inspirational family story and for making our Alaska trip so much more memorable!
