We enjoyed our trip to Stratford upon Avon very much. Mike, our guide, added taking us to the Holy Trinity church where Shakespeare was buried, a really a special addition!

I thoroughly enjoyed the beauty of the Cotswolds, the hills, sheep, greenery and the beauty of its villages and towns. I was surprised, how much I enjoyed Oxford however. The guide , Michael, was a font of knowledge, humor and information about everything on the tour, but especially about Oxford. I gained respect for the meritocracy, that it truly is and it’s approach of immersion and independent study.

Mike & Paul were great. Mike provided so much information on everything and paul got us all over with no difficulties. Wonderful day.

Our tour guide was knowledgeable and inviting, and our driver was excellent. I was pleasantly surprised by how charming each stop was. The meeting spot was easy to find. I highly recommend this to families with older children or adults only. The one tip I would offer is to bring your own lunch. There are shops near Shakespeare’s house, and I would have preferred having more time to shop over taking time to order a lunch. Overall, my family and I had an excellent experience that we will remember forever.

Visiting those places- beautiful and unique. Excellent tour guide- knowledgeable and interesting. Friendly, conversational bus driver.

This was an awesome small group (6) trip which we would highly recommend. Tony our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. He took us to places not on the schedule Small group is definitely worth the money!

This tour probably tries to do too much, but it was exactly as advertised. We had enough time in Stratford and Oxford for what we wanted not see, but we raced through the Cotswolds except for a lunch stop. I enjoyed Tony's irreverent humor, mostly, and we received good information. Call it a quick overview. It was very nice having only six of us on the tour. We were comfortable in the back seat, though we couldn't hear all the conversation in front. The main problem was finding the meeting spot as our ticket said to meet at the Hard Rock Hotel, which does not exist any more. Thankfully we had gone the day before and searched the area, finally finding a Hard Rock Cafe in the Cumberland Hotel. I am very glad we took a different Viator tour later which concentrated on the small villages of the Cotswolds.

Stratford-upon-Avon was great (except we didn't even get to see the river), but the Cotswolds and Oxford were 'meh'. You could do a lot better hiring a car for the day and really getting your time and money's worth.

Robin_C

The area is beautiful and each town is unique. Our tour guide did not provide us with much information about what we saw. We were disappointed with this aspect. I assumed we would learn a lot about the Cotswolds. Next time we would use a private driver or a guide who was recommended by a friend.
