Bath

Next, immerse yourself in the UNESCO-listed city of Bath, a place steeped in history, intrigue, and romance. Discover the ancient hot springs and explore the remains of the Roman baths, where the past comes alive before your very eyes (at your own expense). Follow in the footsteps of the Romans themselves as you wander the charming streets, taking in the stunning architecture and delightful sights that make this city so magical. If you wish to enter the Roman Baths you will be required to pre-book your entry. Windsor Castle

As the day draws to a close, make your way to the magnificent Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest continuously occupied castle in the world. Here, in the heart of royal splendor, immerse yourself in the regal history of England. Explore the sumptuous state apartments, where kings and queens of old once held court and entertained their guests. Marvel at the reception rooms, resplendent with glittering chandeliers, exquisite tapestries, and priceless works of art. And finally, stand in awe before the Royal Chapel of St. George, the final resting place of many of England's most legendary monarchs, including Elizabeth II. Please note: • Windsor Castle is a working Royal residence, and as such can be subject to last-minute closures. •Please be aware there will be a walk of approximately 15 minutes from the coach park to Windsor Castle. Parts of the walk are uphill and may not be suitable for passengers with mobility issues.

    Windsor Castle is a working Royal residence, and as such can be subject to last-minute closures. Please be aware there will be a walk of approximately 15 minutes from the coach park to Windsor Castle. Parts of the walk are uphill and may not be suitable for passengers with mobility issues. St George’s Chapel is closed to visitors on Sundays as services are held throughout the day so you will not be able to enter the chapel. Access to St George’s Chapel may be limited on busy days and during service. On Tuesday & Wednesday Windsor Castle does not open. On these days we will still visit Windsor Town but entry to the Castle will not be possible. We will include entry to the Roman Baths instead, and then when in Windsor your guide will conduct a walking tour of this beautiful, historic town which will include photo opportunities of the Castle. (applicable to Tuesday & Wednesday only)

    British weather can be variable and so guests are advised to check the weather forecast and dress appropriately. It is recommended to bring some warm clothes with you especially in the winter months and layers are good for adapting to the ever-changing weather conditions. It is a good idea to wear appropriate footwear as there is walking involved on our tours. England is known for its rain so it is advisable to bring a waterproof jacket or umbrella with you.
