We had an amazing horseback riding experience! Our guide, Sadie, was very helpful and knowledgable. She made us feel comfortable on our horses and the horses are very sweet and well trained. Walking through the slots was awesome. Would highly recommend!

This was a fun trail to a cool canyon. Our guides where Lauren and Trev. They were knowledgeable of horses and the area. They really tried to connect with the guests. They did a great job pairing riders up the horses. Great views, exploring, conversation, and horses. Pack light. All items have to be carried in the saddle bags. You really don’t need to bring anything but a camera and maybe a water bottle.

What to expect
The weight limit for this activity is strict at 220lbs.
First, we will climb into the saddle at the stables and conduct a brief riding lesson for the inexperienced riders. No need to worry if you are a beginner, we have years of experience and reserve the best trained horses for our guests.
In fall and winter months, be prepared for cold weather! Make sure you bring hats, gloves, coats, etc. to keep you warm while you enjoy the tour.
Following this introduction the ride will continue toward the mouth of a slot canyon. After about 25 minutes, riders will dismount and have the opportunity to continue up the canyon on foot as it gets too narrow for the horses to continue. The canyon continues, with several small obstacles to maneuver past. Eventually, the tour will return back to the stables on horseback.
