I really enjoyed this experience and would definitely recommend it to all of my friends and family. I loved that each winery made me feel welcome and all had very unique qualities. The tour guide was exceptional as he was knowledgeable and personable throughout the tour. My only recommendation would be to do the castle winery last rather than 1st as it was the best winery of the 3. I will definitely return and look forward to seeing Randall on my next tour.

Kind of hard for me to leave a review seeing as the event was canceled. They did put us on another tour.

This is one of the best wine tours I have taken The day started with our tour guide Randall picking us up and driving us to Napa Valley. Randall was very pleasant, funny, and knowledgeable. He gave us a history of the area and also told us about the wines we would be tasting and what to expect at each winery. Our first stop was the Castello di Amorosa. This winery looks like a 15th century Italian castle where we were allow to taste several different wines and rate them. Our wine host, Lorenzo, was very accommodating in letting us try any of the wines we wanted. Of course, we had the option of buying any of those wines (I bought six) but there was no pressure to do so. After the castle, Randall took us to the town of Calistoga where we could buy lunch. Randall gave us detailed information on all of the restaurants and let us choose where we wanted to eat and gave us an hour and a half to eat and to walk around the town. We ate at the Hydro Grill and really enjoyed it. Next we went to the V. Sattui Winery and tasted wines outside by the vineyard at picnic tables under umbrellas. A very modern Italian feel after coming from the castle. There we tasted another four wines from white to red to a madeira. Our last stop was at the Ru Vango Winery where we mostly got to see how the wine was made. We did sample some wines there also including right out of a cask. This was a small group tour of thirteen people and our guide. I don't know if it was the size of our group, the people, or just the wine, but everyone was laughing and having fun together by the end of the tour. Once again, this was the best wine tour I have taken in some time.

Booked this tour months ago, last year actually. Got an email today to say my tour on Saturday 10th June was cancelled due to not enough people. Only option was a tour on a date I wasn't in San Francisco. I checked their website and they don't even do this tour on a Saturday. Asked them to phone me. The lady said Management had decided not to do Saturdays, so email was basically a lie. She offered me a private Tour for $2000!! Are you crazy. Now left trying to get money back and no wine tasting in Napa, which is one of the main reasons for my visit.

The Napa small group wine tour was our first time to try a group outing and it proved to be a great decision.. With 13 of us on a clean, roomy bus we were all comfortable and able to get to know one another which made the trip even more fun. Our guide Randall was absolutely amazing! He struck the perfect balance between interesting information, humor and a genuine effort to make this outing one everyone would enjoy. Oh, and the wine tasting was pretty good too! I highly recommend this tour (and Randall if you can get him!).

It was mine and my partner's first trip to Napa Valley and this tour did NOT disappoint. Randall is the absolute BEST tour guide - so knowledgable about wine/the area and just a terrific human being on top of that. I feel like for our first time in Napa, we really got to see a lot. Great wineries, and this tour makes the tastings easy. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who has not done Napa before - such a great tour.

My husband and I loved this tour. First we stopped at the castle for 2 hours. We loved being able to sit by ourselves while we sampled wine. Touring the castle and grounds was a nice change from just drinking wine. It is a beautiful. We lived in Germany for years and visited many castles. This castle was as beautiful as those. Next we had ample time for lunch in Castillo. Our second stop was the old grocery store where we got to sample all their wines. It was interesting, but not my favorite. Too many people. I wanted to buy something in the store, but I would have wasted 30 min standing in line. The last stop was a beautiful winery with the vines - a true Napa experience. The views were breathtaking. Randall, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable. I learned so much about the area and wine. Great job! Highly recommend.

Randall, our guide, was very knowledgeable and attentive to our comfort throughout the day. We learned so much! We highly recommend this tour of Napa and ask for Randall. You won’t be disappointed!!

Maria_B

Randall our driver and our guide was amazing. He was very informative and recommended tips for us to use at the wineries. The First Winery (Castle) was great the other 2 were very mediocre.
