Although in part was filled in to create Piazza Tasso, The Vallone dei mulini is a most intriguing site of untamed, natural beauty. Particularly striking is an evening view as the remains of the old mill are illuminated, creating a haunting atmosphere.

Villa Fiorentino

This outstanding Villa was donated to the city of Sorrento at the end of the last century, by the married couple Lucia Fiorentino and Antonino Cuomo. Built at the beginning of the 20th century, its design was inspired by the typical American style houses of the period. It is surrounded by a lovely garden, part of which was set aside for a children's playground. Villa Fiorentino is the seat of the Sorrento Foundation, an institution engaged in promoting tourism and cultural awareness, and hosts high-profile art exhibitions and events.
