If you have never been dog sledding then this is for you! You learn dog sledding basics and we took tons of pictures and it was amazing and I got to feed the dogs treats at the end

The weather the night before was terrible, and I was certain the tour would be canceled. Miraculously, the skies cleared! I got to ride co-pilot in the helo on the way up to the glacier. The views were spectacular. Once we arrived at camp, we met the dogs and puppies. There was a group getting ready to leave on their sled and so much barking! All the dogs want to go. There was silence for about a minute when they left, then howling by the dogs in the pens. ;) I was in a group of three, and our musher was Calvin (he is amazing). We each got to ride on the sled (a great place to take pictures), behind the driver, and on the auxiliary sled behind the main sled. We stopped twice to rotate positions and take pictures. This might be considered an expensive tour, but it is worth it. How many people that don't live in Alaska can say they've ridden on a dog sled? FYI: They do have raincoats and rainpants. I chose to wear the gear I brought. There was a little dog hair, but I was comfortable. Bring a warm hat, sunglasses, gloves/mittens, and a camera! And don't forget to tip the crew on the mountain.

Reached out via email to inquire about a first responder/nurse discount. We are first time Alaska visitors and heard WONDERFUL things about this tour from our neighbors who recently visited. I got a response that said, "My grandpa paid full price. I don’t think there’s an anything discount :-)". My husband and I would have still booked despite a discount, but this is the response they chose to give me and so we 100% will not be booking.

Hunter, Emma and Dave along with their trained canines were fantastic. We got lucky with a break in the cold but did have fresh snow. It was a super fun event with the kids and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. They are all extremely patient, and the dogs are super nice. Must do activity!
