Charismatic local tour guide, Monroe, led us on an entertaining journey through the streets of Key West giving us the unfettered story of this small island. This tour was absolutely amazing!!! Not only did we taste savory Cuban cuisine at the end of the trip, but as we were being led along, an older, native Key West man overheard our guide and gleefully corroborated all of the history we were being told! It was an amazing recount of the history between “Conchs” and we were so happy to be a part of this interaction. Hands down a better experience than the ride-around tour we took which gave a very bland account of the island’s history. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to fully experience the history of Key West as told by a passionate generational Conch.

I made and paid for a tour on December 26, 2019 and the tour guide never showed up. I called Viator after waiting for 15 minutes at the meeting point. I requested a refund of my money, but I am still waiting to see it on my credit card. I called the credit card company and they are working with me on the matter.
