Very good whisky tour around the Speyside. Good storytellers Jim and Chris made sure we had the most amazing day

This was an unbelievable tour & experience, thanks in no small part to Roger, our guide. Rabbie's runs a highly professional operation: impeccably timely, brilliantly selected range of distilleries & driving routes through the Cairngorms and supremely informative with respect to Scotland's history. My friend and I can't rave enough about our experience. There's no question we'll be back within the year for the Islay tour. Roger, we can't thank you enough -- you're a gem of a person and Rabbie's is lucky to have you. I've got a new appreciation for Scotland, its people and its famous elixir. Just awesome!

We were fortunate to once again have the charming Jim for our guide through lovely Speyside, home to many of the worlds most renowned single malt whiskey. His insight into the history of the area added greatly to our tour experience. Watching whiskey barrels be refurbished by experienced Coopers, who go through extensive training and are often children and grandchildren of Coopers who have come before them. Cardhu provided an excellent tour of the distillery and the process of making whiskey. Once again it was our tour guide, Jim, who made the long day fly by with interesting anecdotes. Loved this tour!

Neil was a fantastic guide and host. The scenery was so beautiful, and the distilleries were awesome! I only wish I could have tipped him, I wasn’t able to exchange money before my trip commenced. I will highly recommend Rabbies for tours, and for future trips.

Our driver and the guide Neil was excellent. Tour should include at least the visit to two distilleries. Time wasted in showing an empty small castle which was useless instead, they should have taken us for another distillery or a tasting. Time allocated for lunch was not sufficient and the place use for lunch due only have very limited food options which is disappointing .

We loved seeing the distilling process and our guide, Neil was very knowledgeable about the local area. We highly recommend this day trip out of the city!

The promises shouldn't be made, in case there's no plan in keeping them. I am extremely disappointed, as several days before my trip, I started getting emails about tour being shortened and agenda changed, and proposals to change to other dates, because apparently I was the only traveler for the day - until last day surprise, when I was already waiting for the bus in Aberdeen station, I got to know that TOUR IS CANCELED! They didn't even call me, just notified by email!!! Very unprofessional.

Squeezed onto this tour last minute (booked the day before). Recommend booking earlier. Alice was a fantastic guide, providing some of Scotland’s history as well as an overview of Scotch whisky. In addition, she (and Rabbie’s) went above and beyond in coming to the aid of this tourist who somehow parted company with his wallet during or shortly after the cab ride to meet the tour bus. Totally salvaged what could have spoiled my enjoyment of the day. Do you see all/many of the distilleries in the area? No, but the variety packed into this plus the benefit of enjoying the Scottish countryside, and you more than get your money’s worth for a 10-hour experience. God bless you, Alice, for being such an angel in helping me, and to Rabbie’s for hiring such excellent tour guides!

The overall trip was really enjoyable and worth every penny. Our driver Neil was very friendly and knowledgeable. Beautiful landscapes, whisky tasting, and finally the visit to Cardhu distillery was the cherry on the top!
