Your Itinerary

Finsbury Square

After meeting at Old Street roundabout we will walk 5 minutes to the first stop, which will be near Finsbury Square. This will be a Chinese-style restaurant with a very special spicy dish for a minimum of one hour and maximum of 90 minutes, before moving onto our next stop by tube, approximately 10 minutes walk away.

Brick Lane

Your second spicy food tour stop will be in Brick Lane in the heart of East London at a famous curry house with a devilishly spicy curry following a 10 minute walk from our previous stop. After a minimum of one hour and maximum of 90 minutes at the curry house, we will then walk around 5 minute to our final stop.

The Old Truman Brewery

Your final spicy food stop will be near the old Truman Brewery for a chicken-related challenge after a short 5 minute walk from the previous stop. We will at our final stop for between one hour and 90 minutes before our tour finishes!

During a recent visit to London, I had the pleasure of joining the Spice Quest London tour and it was truly an afternoon well spent, full of laughter and good, spicy food. It was a small, fun-loving group, just four of us led by the knowledgeable and charming Tom. We walked around in a neighbourhood with which I was not familiar and Tom provided information not only on the food we ate and the restaurants we went to but also on the area in general. To keep us entertained, there was also a chili quiz. We visited a variety of restaurants and markets, with the the spice level going up for each place. From Szechuan fish to Indian curries and hot chicken wings, the tour was a true spice lover's dream. I warmly recommend this tour to anyone who likes a little spice (or a lot). I hope to be able to join another Spice Quest tour next time I'm in London.

Just completed the Quest and would strongly recommend for those who enjoy hot food. Not only was the food at times mind bendingly spicy but it was also delicious and VERY filling. I was taken to gems that I will be returning to for sure and I have a newfound love for Szechwan. Tom's knowledge and humour, coupled with the giddy atmosphere created by extreme heat made for a hilarious afternoon. He is a true spice lord and I look forward to returning one day.

This was a brilliant xmas gift for my boyfriend!! We did the tour this weekend and were led on a sensory journey by Tom! Toms enthusiasm for all things chilli really shon through…as well as getting to explore London, and push our spice levels we also learned a lot about the dishes…There was something for everyone…but BYOMilk!

I had Spice Tour recently booked for me by a friend as a Birthday present and we had an absolutely fantastic time. Tom is an excellent host and great fun, making you feel instantly welcome. He's specially selected a number of places to eat which have both great food as well as being exceptionally spicy with a number of challenges along the way. Tom wasn't messing about when he said the meals and challenges he had planned were spicy, so probably not for beginners when it comes to spice! If a vindaloo at a curry house isn't your regular order this may not be for you. I needed a lie down after the wings we had at the final place as they were absolutely nuclear! A memorable experience and a brilliant day out with great company and food- highly recommended. I hope to go again soon!

I booked the Spice Tour for a business networking event and it was great. The choice selection was good (some places a bit far away between each other but it was worth the walk) The tour manager (tall guy) very engaging. Our business partners loved it and they all had a great time. Only caveat is that some of the options were a bit too spicy so be aware before trying. Would book again.

Absolutely smashing time. Tom has curated a series of increasingly spicy and very flavoursome treats. He guided us from restaurant to restaurant while dispensing anecdotes and mentally preparing us for what was next. Great selection of food, costs basically the same as what you would pay if you booked yourself, and a fun bunch of spice adventurers to go through the experience with. And my god it is an experience. The spice quest is like a coming of age, a spirit quest. Some of the bites will hurt but it will be over in a few minutes and then you will want more.

As a big lover and long time enthusiast of spicy food, I’d wanted to do something like this for a long time. A friend of mine sent me a link to do a Spice Quest experience and on a whim we did it! It did not disappoint, the whole spice quest team were so knowledgable, smooth transitions between restaurants, delicious food and made some new friends! Excellent value for money as well. Genuinely thinking about booking it for my birthday!
