Your Itinerary

Government House Museum

(Pass by)

Government House dominates the west end of the Town Plaza, a unique Spanish land use component lying within a National Historic Landmark District. Along coasts, plazas were to begin at the waterfront - to see and to be seen. Since 1598, a government building has stood on this site with a view of the harbor landing, accommodating administrative headquarters and residences of colonial governors appointed by the Crowns of Spain, then Britain, then Spain again. After Spain ceded Florida to the United States in 1821, this current Government House served as a courthouse and briefly as a Capitol of the new Territory of Florida.

Plaza de la Constitucion

(Pass by)

Historic park in the center of downtown St. Augustine. The original city plan was built out from this location. It is bordered by The Government House, the Cathedral Basilica, and the Bridge of Lions and Matanzas Bay. Spain's 1573 Law of the Indies, Leyes de los Indies, specified that colonial town plans set aside such a plaza for government, church and public use. Along coasts, plazas were to begin at the waterfront - to see and to be seen.

Flagler College

(Pass by)

Housed in the former Ponce de Leon Hotel that was built by Henry Flagler in 1888.

St. George Street

Visit some of our favorite vendors and discover the history of St. Augustine's most famous street.

Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine

(Pass by)

The Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine is a historic cathedral in St. Augustine, Florida, and the seat of the Catholic Bishop of St. Augustine. Constructed over five years (1793–1797), it was designated a U.S. National Historic Landmark on April 15, 1970. Its congregation, established in 1565, is the oldest Christian congregation in the contiguous United States.

St. Photios Greek Orthodox National Shrine

(Pass by)

Just steps from St. Augustine’s historic city gates at St. George Street, the St. Photios Greek Orthodox National Shrine, an institution of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, is dedicated to the first colony of Greek people who came to America in 1768.

Alex is the best!! My friend & I had so much fun talking, eating and walking with Alex. He is so personable and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the tour so much that we're planning on booking the Ale Tour next. We walked away with a cooler (provided) full of chocolate, sweets, water & macaroons! Thank you, Alex!

This was such a fun tour and the history we learned about it was so interesting! Amy was such a knowledgeable guide and she was so kind. Definitely recommend this if you love sweets!

My husband, daughter and I had a spectacular tour with Alison, we had so many sweet treats while on our tour and brought home a bagful of additional treats from each visit! We learned interesting facts about such a wonderful town. Thank you! Highly recommend!!!

We did two tours (food tour and sweets tour) with Alex and let me tell you, they were both amazing! Besides the great sweets and food picks to the recommendations and St Augustine history, Alex is so lovely and an amazing human being. He made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves, made small talk, and got our introvert selves speaking. We enjoyed both walks so much we talked about them for days. We cannot recommend him and his company enough! (Thank you Alex for spending your birthday morning with us! From your friends in San Juan)

Wow! What a delectable tour! Not only do you get yummy treats at each stop, you get surprises to take home in a thermal bag. Amy, our guide, was very knowledgeable about St Augustine history. We learned interesting facts and she pointed out some neat hidden sites, that you would walk right past if not pointed out. She was a wealth of information. Amy was personable, easy to talk to, and a great guide. A fun tour.

I really recommend this tour! My date and I loved the history we got to hear as we explored St. Augustine! Amy was very funny and personable and the food was divine! We were both really impressed by the sample sizes we got to take home.

We had a great experience with Alex. He kept intouch with us beforehand (making sure we gave ourselves ample time to park & giving us specific directions). We had a fun time learning about St. Augustine, more about him and about the fun food choices he made for us. We were quite full after our tour. We had three savory & 2 Sweet stops. It was a great way to spend a few hours (definitely would not have tried these spots on our own) & Alex has the best personality for this job!

Alex was an awesome and very engaging tour guide! We learned a lot about the history of St. Augustine and some fun facts about the sweets! All the stops we made were very cute, and the treats were great! We loved the goodie bag! The only down side was that there weren't more stops!

Alex was awesome! We learned about things that aren't common history lessons and had treats that we would have most likely walked right past if not for this tour. He also showed us some hidden history that was right in plain site. Alex also made sure to give us recommendations on where to go to get the most out of our trip. I am looking forward to coming back and trying another tour with them!
