    On a grey bank holiday Sunday in St David’s what better way to find out more about the smallest city in the UK. Die and Rug were totally committed to their mission and dressed accordingly and carrying suitable props. The tour was partly fact, partly myth and frequently elaborate fantasy but it was all the better for this. Be warned they haven’t a lot of time for Vikings. Well worth the price.

    Witty and charming pun-filled account of the extraordinary life of the patron saint of many things including doves and pigeons. I could hardly believe my eyes and ears learning about a rock split in half by a woman with giant goalkeeper-like hands, dangerous caprines, a bee emporium, the secret tunnels and personal highlight of the tour, “the window” - behold “The Window!” Definitely worth the modest £10 fee.

    Stephen. Really enjoyed this witty and eccentric maybe not so accurate history of St David’s. Particularly enjoyed the psychotic goats and pesky vikings

    Excellent, engaging tour.All the family loved it. The time flew by. Highly recommend for all ages.St David and Rug are alive and well.

    This tour was brilliant. We met St David and Bishop Rug and were entertained throughout the walk. St David, Dave to his friends was so engaging, funny and characterful and together with Rug provided great entertainment. it was a pleasure to take part and join in. Would definitely do it again and worth every penny. The only downside was I am not sure whether all the tales he told stacked up!! We loved the leek which was used to stop the traffic, but didn’t always work! The window was the highlight and thankfully we didn’t come across any vikings although the story of the sheep still makes me giggle! The sound effects contributed by Rug were brilliantly simple, so funny and were the cherry on the cake. We would like to thank them both as it was a fitting end to a marvellous day spent in and around St David’s. I would heartily recommend this tour.

    Oriel y Parc Landscape Gallery and Visitor Centre

    The tour starts here and you will get to see the eco-friendly outside of the centre plus a hidden garden, the legendary St Non's Rocks and a Neolithic picnic table.

    Stryd yr Afr. Once a place of torment for the local monks, now clear of goats, we'll pass down freely without fear of being eaten.

    St. Davids

    Cross Square, St Davids, is the centre of the city, home to the local market, iconic cross monument and war memorial garden. You will hear stories about Welsh icon Owain Glyndwr, plus lesser known stories about the brotherhood of St David.

    We stop outside this iconic local delicatessen (now sadly closed) for some stories about monastic beekeeping, vikings and a horse.

    We'll pass this iconic local inn and hear about the strange origins behind its name, plus you'll get to see one of St Davids hidden gems: The Window.

    Another stop in St Davids is porth y twr, the oldest part of the cathedral complex and home to hundreds of years of ghostly rumours. We'll stop here to hear stories about a dark monastic conspiracy to do away with St Dai, plus a chance to see the remains of Wales's oldest public outhouse.

    The tour ends at the cathedral where you will hear stories about an epic battle between the Devil and St Dai and the original monastery. We don't go down the steps, so you are free to explore the cathedral in your own time
