Excellent walking tour with a french-speeking woman (actually swiss) living in Berlin for 20 years. She knows very well the history of Germany and Berlin. I chosed "West Berlin" to visit/learn something different of this terrible 2nd war. So we walked in West Berlin, saw the Wall and learned so many things. Especially that what we watched on TV in France in 1989 when the Wall was destroyed was not exactly the reality. We learned why they built the wall, how it was to live in the west or east side of the wall. Be there, getting true stories, seeing the wall, plans of the city, is something to do to get the point of view of the Berlin people. The woman guide was wonderful. Sorry I don't remember her name. A young swiss french speeking guide of the team, I guess there's only one. Thank for this very interesting and cheerfull tour. Katie

visite indispensable pour bien comprendre la ville et l'évolution de la vie à Berlin. Notre guide Jean Charles est un brillant communiquant pour faire une synthèse sur le thème proposé. Sa communication orale est rythmée, précise.

Great tour thanks to our guide Catherine who told us lots of very interesting anecdotes about the wall. Visit to the subway and the remains of the subway grates during the separation of Berlin: it made us experience a little of what people experienced during the separation. I highly recommend

Very well documented visit by Jean Charles. Allows us to understand life on the GDR side from 1961 to 1989 and the desire to move to the West. Several scenarios are very moving. We recommend. Annie and Serge
