    This was the highlight of our trip! Incredible views, very comfortable ride, and well planned. James was our outstanding tour guide with lots of tidbits about history and culture.

    The top guide James was fabulous. He had a cold on the day but was bright, cheery and super congenial. We loved the insights he (and two other guides who were in training) offered. We were glad we picked this trip as we were able to see four lochs (maybe 5), castles, and extremely old standing stones plus cairns. So nice not having to drive - instead both my wife and I were able to enjoy the scenery and the several short walks we took. The Scottish Highlands are beautiful! I loved James's explanation of the Loch Lomond song near the end of our tour - sad but endearing.

    The scenery was beautiful, endlessly green pastures ,hills, trees..along Loch Lomond…Our tour guide Cal was excellent, very knowledgeable, pleasant, while telling us all about the History of Scotland and especially of the spots we stopped at, making the trip very enjoyable and personalized, since we were a group of only 6 people!!Plenty of time to interact ,,lovely group! Would highly recommend this tour!!! Msrgarita Illanes

    I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. It included a nice sampling of historic sites and opportunities to enjoy the beautiful nature of Scotland. Cal was engaging, informative and fun. His enthusiasm for his homeland radiated through his narrative and in the great 'playlist' he played. We had 8 people in our group which made it very easy to move around and allowed us to stop at more sites than if we were part of a large group. Scotland is a fantastic country and a tour w/Cal of Scotland's Wild is a great way to experience it.

    Oh my goodness it was fantastic! The Standing Stones were wonderful along with the Stone Circles. You walk by a pasture work sheep!The guide was great and love the 8 client maximum along with the Dunadd fort

    Inveraray Castle & Gardens

    The first stop of the day is the Gothic style castle of Inveraray, home to the Dukes of Argyll and the seat of Clan Campbell. Here you will discover the part the Clan Campbell played in the Wars of Scottish Independence and get the chance to see rifles which were supposedly used against the Jacobite soldiers. For those who love flowers and gardens, there’s also a wonderful 16-acre Garden to explore.

    Kilchurn Castle

    Take a walk to Kilchurn Castle, a stronghold which once belonged to member of the Clan Campbell, this one though is very different to Inveraray. This ruined castle on the banks of Loch Awe was once a fortress, a comfortable residence and then ended it’s days as a garrison stronghold before being destroyed by lightning. We’ll take the short walk in and explore this historic Castle.
