BRAVEHEART. STIRLING, celà nous parle à nous breton. Robert le Brousse, Sir William WALLACE, le héros d'un peuple qui voulait bouter l'anglois hors d'Ecosse, nous les sentons dans ces lieux mythiques. Ils sont là autour du chateau. Ils ne se sont pas battus en vain. Nous voyons dans le château leur histoire, l'histoire de l'Ecosse, d'un grand peuple. Les écossais étaient pro européens à l'inverse des Gallois et des Anglais. Ecossais, bretons, nous sommes celtes, frères. Très beau château, très belle page d'histoire de l'Ecosse. A NE PAS MANQUER

Nous avons visité Stirling et son célèbre château dans le cadre d'une escapade en-dehors d'Édimbourg. La ville est facilement accessible en train (50min) ou en bus et mérite franchement la visite. Le centre historique n'est pas très grand mais offre de jolies rues historiques. Le château est un incontournable : les espaces extérieurs sont parfaitement conservés et l'intérieur reconstitué avec soin. En outre, la visite des remparts offre de jolis points de vue sur la campagne environnante. Compter deux heures pour tout visiter.
