Loved it. Great mix of castles, hikes, and whiskey. Don't do the guided tour in Stirling castle when dropped off explore on your own.

We had such a great time on this tour. Our guides, James and Kat, were very knowledgeable and made the day fun. We’d definitely recommend this trip.

Great guides and an interesting group of activities: a castle, a visit and hike at Loch Lomond (this was my favorite), and a tour/tasting at a distillery. Really enjoyed it all and highly recommend! My only suggestion is that, while the Stirling Castle docent/guide was super knowledgeable, there was no more time after his talk to tour most of the castle. I should have explored the castle first.

Lauren was an amazing guide and we learned we were her first solo group! Happy to break her in for the rest of you ... a real pleasure. All aspects were as represented or better, and we highly recommend it. The Glengoyne Distillery folks, Bill and Lorna, were a delight!

We had a wonderful day with our guide Laura, from Scotland's Wild. The day trip started off by travelling to Stirling Castle, then on to Loch Lomond - with a short hike up the hill, to get a great view of the lake and the Scottish Highlands and topped it off with a taste of a fine local whisky. And then to finish off, we had a tour through the Glengoyne Distillery, another whisky tasting there and an opportunity to buy some of their fine produce. It was a day we will remember for a long time, with so many great places to see and a lot of fun and laughs a long the way!

Great tour, small bus , great guide, lots of fun, worth the money , and if you get Andrew as a guide consider your self lucky. He was informative and fun to be with. Great tour all around!

Craig was amazing. He was very outgoing, humorous, super knowledgeable in Scotland history, interesting tales, and you can see how much he adores his Scotland. I fell in love with Scotland through him. He and my husband started discussing Robert Byrne and he recited all 14 (I think it was 14) stanzas of Ode to Haggis in the olde English. Not once, but twice because I thought I was videoing, but I didn’t press the button properly! My husband and I were older than the others in our small group and he was sure to be mindful of our limitations and ensured we were taken care of. I will never forget our day and Craig. It was the perfect way to end our weeks of touring.

Wonderful tour with Andrew. We started with Stirling Castle and got there early enough to beat the crowds. We had a lovely short hike for a view of Loch Lomond, and a great tour of Glengoyne Distillery. We didn't have time for lunch before the distillery, so it might be wise to eat a large breakfast or bring a sandwich. Andrew is a very knowledgeable and entertaining guide; he even spoke some Gaelic for us and gave us valuable tips for our visit to Lewis and Harris.

Our tour guide Andrew was the best guide we ever had on tours and we did a lot of them in several countries. We had a great day with much fun and at the end a special song by driving back to Glasgow. Many thanks to Andrew for interesting stories and we learned a lot of Scotland history.
