What to expect

Bath

You will be collected from your accommodation in Bath or a central location in the city e.g. the railway station and will be driven in a private car to a great viewpoint over the city of Bath. The tour continues with a private walking tour in the centre of Bath. Your guide, who was born and grew up in Bath, will show you all of the city's famous landmarks and will tell you interesting stories about these and the city. You will also be shown the location of the city's hot springs - without these Bath would not be the city that it is today. During the tour there will not be time to go inside any of the museums in Bath e.g. the Roman Baths but your guide will happily point these out and give you some insider tips should you wish to visit these during your stay. At the end of the Bath tour you will have a stop for lunch before continuing to Stonehenge. Some of the places visited on the Bath walking tour are listed below.

You will visit the beautiful Circus which has an interesting connection to Stonehenge.

After lunch you will be driven to Stonehenge. At Stonehenge your private guide will take you on a tour of the ancient stone circle. Your guide will explain about its history, how archaeologists believe it was constructed and will tell you interesting stories behind the site. There will be plenty of opportunities for photos.
