Afterwards, the time is yours to explore this beautiful city at your own pace. Wander its cobbled streets and explore the markets, or choose to visit the famous Roman Baths* and learn all about their history.

The Royal Crescent is a row of 30 terraced houses laid out in a sweeping crescent in the city of Bath, England.

The Roman Baths

The Roman Baths complex is a site of historical interest in the English city of Bath. It is a well-preserved Roman site once used for public bathing. The Roman Baths themselves are below the modern street level. There are four main features: the Sacred Spring, the Roman Temple, the Roman Bath House and the museum, holding finds from Roman Bath. The buildings above street level date from the 19th century. The Baths are a major tourist attraction and, together with the Grand Pump Room, receive more than one million visitors a year. Wonderful trip to Stonehenge and Bath. Very informative tour and very safe driving. Andy Jackson went out of his way to make sure we were able to get tickets to the Roman Baths and he and Sam were a great combo for this tour.

Andy Jackson and Sam make a good team. We knew where and when we needed to be to keep the tour on time. Lots of interesting facts, told in an entertaining way. Good advice to limit a day’s tour to 2 places, so you have plenty of spare time to explore on your own and aren’t rushed to meet back at the bus.

Although I've wanted to see Stonehenge for many years, I was disappointed in the experience as our audio guides didn't work. We could not hear about Stonehenge as we were seeing it. Also, there was no internet on the bus so we couldn't even read about it. Bath, however. Was wonderful and we enjoyed the tour of the baths immensely.
