Very good company. Email contact was spot on, always kept upto date with everything. Coach was very clean, and well driven. Staff was extremely helpful. I would recommend the company and have no hesitation in using them again.

We missed the bus to Stonehenge! Our one and only chance of a lifetime. The tour operator Evans and Evans was very unaccommodating. They blamed Viator for their presentation of information. Hopefully Viator will reach out and rectify this situation and receive my feedback so that this doesn’t happen to anyone else. So very sad.

Everything including our guide, bus driver, everything at Stonehenge was great. The only thing that was confusing was the address provided: 258 Vauxhall Bridge rd. I had to call the tour operator and was told to go to their office which was 2-3 blocks away from the aforementioned address. When I got there, I was told the pick up address had changed a while ago and I had to walk to Victoria station which was 10 minutes from the office. I got there 5 minutes before the bus was leaving. Hadn’t I gotten there early, I would have missed it. So, please make sure to provide the correct address for the future visitors.

Simply visiting the site and exploring the museum. The experience gave us the long view of human history and perspective regarding current world affairs in relation to that history. We deeply appreciated the bus transportation from the Visitor Center to the Stone Circle. Wish we could have stayed longer and explored more!

Seeing Stonehenge after All these years is exhilerating. It has an energy that you can only feel once there. And the reconstruction of the round houses is a great plus

Not a great experience tor 2 main reasons - 1. The free audio headset which the tour is supposed to provide did not work. And even after informing the person in charge, all he said was that "sorry it's not working but there's nothing I can do". I am paying for this experience and an audio guide is essential. Also, I thought it was only with our headsets but 3 other tourists on the bus also had faulty headsets which didn't work. 2. Time management from the tour's part is very bad. It's a half day tour with "extra time". But they don't account for reaching late which makes the trip super rushed. We reached stonehenge at 11:40 and by the time the guide gave us the tickets and walked us to the entrance, it was 11:50. He said we have to be back by 1:30 otherwise they would not wait for us (it didn't sound like he was joking). Taking into consideration a restroom break and grabbing a coffee to walk with, we effectively only had an hour and 15 mins when we should have had 2 hours. This is probably just enough time to take in the monument but not enough to look at the exhibition and the other ancient mounds. The trip felt extremely rushed. Lastly, and this is a personal opinion, I have been on other Evans Evans tours and they are generally much better. The guides are always helpful, the buses are big, and the trips are well planned. This particular one is not worth the money. It's just a ferry service. I would recommend either get your own car and drive down or get to Salisbury or Bath and use a shuttle service from there so you'll at least get to do it in your own time.

We were running late and messaged the company via chat. She said she reached out to the bus guide and they will wait as long as possible. Tour was scheduled for 9:30am departure. We saw the bus starting to pull away at 9:46am. My husband ran and pounded on the door. They stopped to let us board. Hallelujah! I did feel bad that the other 22 tourists had to wait for us but we were EXTREMELY appreciative. Everything went well, it wasn’t a busy day at all. No long wait at Stonehenge. It was also a clear day. Assistant guide told us it can get really bad on weekends, so avoid if possible. It’s been a bucket list for me, so glad we got to see it in person. Although tipping is not customary, we decided to tip the driver, guide and asst guide when we got back. We really appreciated their patience.

Very well organized, audio guide was very good, well explained and to the point. My daughter and I enjoyed the freedom of being able to roam the place on our own with all the explanations of a well versed virtual tour guide… Good value for your money!

Beautiful! The tour bus took us safely in the rain and traffic to and from Stonehenge. We didn't stop in between. Amazing views!

Carol_M

Nothing much! Long drive, raining what took 5 hours should have been about 1 hour. 2 hours is to long to look at ancient stones.
