Enjoyed our ferry ride to Sausalito in both directions. Discounted price for seniors. We sat at the bow of the boat while windy had the best views.

Not quite sure what happened here or if the actual trip was any good. Travelling alone with my two young children, we were greeted at the ferry door by a very angry and threatening steward, screaming at us for rushing down the ramp to make sure we didn't miss it. If you aren't meant to do this, that is fine and we should be told but not in the aggressive and threatening manner we were subjected too. Squaring up to me and not nice. It upset my children a lot and marred our time in San Francisco! I didn't get the guys name but he was very tall and had dreadlocks, not a nice person at all. Made us all feel very uneasy. This needs addressing as it isn't acceptable.

The ferry is nothing fancy but provided a great ride to Sausalito. Ferries were right on schedule and we were able to see everything we wanted to see and grab some lunch during the two hours between ferries.

The ferry was an enjoyable ride Walking along Bridgeway was pleasant with all the beautiful shops and restaurants. We had the most delicious lunch in Poggio Trattoria. Food was great and prices reasonable. Staff was friendly and informative about the area. Absolutely a go to afternoon excursion

Easy process lady scanned tickets to get into boat. Still had to stand in line to access. Nice big boat with a small cafe inside. Great views of Alcatraz and some fabulous flying pelicans joined us on the way over. Golden Gate Bridge was in haze/fog so couldn’t really see it. Lovely friendly peaceful place went to Fred’s diner a mile north of town for lunch which was outstanding and even bought a T-shirt, the town was very busy with the usual tourist shops/restaurants and cafes.

Had a great day at Sausalito - easy to access with the boats. Recommend having a walk along the streets.

Easy breezy way to get the tickets. Having the pass on the phone worked perfectly. Ferry left right on time.

Really bad example for nasty unfriendly staff. You get screamed at when you enter the boat and when you leave the boat. They really don't care about customers at all. Absolutely horrible.

We were told when we purchased a clipper monthly ticket it would include ferries , cable cars , and buses in SF At pier 39 we were directed to Blue and gold where a member of staff said it would be fine . When we tried to board we were told that we had to PAY to get to Sausalito , but the return would be covered by the Clipper card. On the return journey we were told this was not true and had to pay again . In addition they would only accept cards not cash It is a nice ride but it would have been so much better is we had not been told by SO many staff we would NOT have to pay , only to find out they would not let us off the boat until we paud twice . Ironically , it was the same members of Staff that told us we had to pay , that had originally told us the return journey wiuld be cvered by the Clipper card

My family used the Blue and Gold Fleet to SF after biking across the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito. The ladies who worked at the area when the ticket kiosks are and where you line up to board were super nice and friendly. The price to take the ferry is quite reasonable and it’s nice they don’t charge extra for your bike. The man who instructs you where to put you bike on board is militant. He basically yells at people and throws the bikes on top of each other. I felt bad for anyone with an expensive bike the way he tossed them into each other. Mine was a rental and I was seriously concerned they were going to charge us for damage. As we walked up to the deck to find seating people were talking about him throwing their bikes around. Perhaps he was having a bad day. It did seem like a lot of work for one person to be doing. Hopefully it was fluke.
