We recently visited Strasbourg with Viking River Cruises and Mr. Laravine was the guide for our walking tour. Maxime was an absolutely outstanding and marvelous tour guide. He is able to strike a perfect balance between informing and entertaining his guests and his passion for the subject matter is more than obvious.
My wife and I were extremely lucky to have had such a wonderful guide. We both highly recommend Maxime’s tours for anyone wishing be “enchanted” while visiting Strasbourg.

We were SO fortunate to have Maxim as our tour guide in Strasbourg. It was just the 3 of us. He was so knowledgeable and interesting. I would HIGHLY recommend taking a tour with him.

Very beautiful, the cathedral is an object accessible to everyone, but at the same time those few most beautiful angles from which to see it are almost like hidden gems, so I especially recommend a boat trip, on average price 15-20 euros, which is very appropriate for this experience

Most people would probably focus on Petite France and island inside the river. Maxime was extremely knowledgeable and was able to ask lots of questions. We went from inside the island to outside seeing both German and French influence and back inside to finish at the Cathedral and Stone Masons Guide. Would be happy to recommend this tour and guide to anyone.

Maxime gave us a thorough history of Strasbourg while we walked along beautiful streets with gorgeous buildings. We went to the University where we viewed the Ramses 2 - magnificent! He was very patient with an elderly couple who were in our tour as they didn’t have as much endurance. He

Maxime provided an excellent tour of the city. He is very knowledgeable and pointed out many interesting places and things we would not have seen on our own. The tour was 3 hours and we covered all parts of the city of Strasbourg. We would definitely recommend this tour

This guided tour has really been one of the highlights of our trip. We had Maxime as our guide and he was incredibly knowledgeable. He studied and is trained in local history here. We had our two sons, ages 10 and 7, and my mother in law on the tour. Maxime answered all of our questions, pointed out small little details that thousands of people simply just walked by, and gave an extremely thorough understanding of the town. Maxime was great with letting our boys enjoy the snowy courtyards and allowed them to be boys while he continued his discussions with the adults. We could not be more pleased with this tour and honestly would love to have Maxime as a tour guide with several other international trips we have planned in the future (which he does!). Thank you so much!
