Sundowner offers a relaxing social atmosphere for connecting to new people and sharing experiences. Sundowner is a fully covered purpose built catamaran designed for socialising, and unlike a yacht, we have a flat surface and no trip hazards. There is ample room to move, and high heels are welcome. Sundowner departs from Able Point Marina, Northern Village which is only a short walk from the main street of Airlie Beach. Abell Point Marina is a vibrant award winning marina which includes the award winning Hemmingways Restaurant with uninterrupted views across the marina and Sorrento’s Restaurant & Bar located alongside the boardwalk in the Northern Village. We circumnavigate Pioneer Bay and as we have very little draft we are able are able to get up close and personal to the many points of interest, including Mandalay Point, Cannonvale Beach and a bit of Turtle spotting in Turtle Bay. Airlie Beach and the Whitsunday islands provide the perfect back drop for our sunset cruises, as well as our other cruises including private charters for birthdays, corporate groups, weddings or any celebration.

Great team and great service, very informative Captain. The boat was very comfortable. We enjoyed a lovely afternoon around the foreshore of Airlie Beach topped off with a lovely sunset over the hills. The music was pumping!

Crew were friendly and good to speak with. It was good we did not have a full boat so plenty of room to move around. Unfortunately beyond control was a loud couple of men who obviously didn’t know time and place for behaviour. Otherwise very relaxed couple of hours.

We love this sunset cruise! I've done it twice and it never fails to disappoint. The scenery is beautiful, we even saw turtles! This most recent time there was a slight delay in getting the captain on board (through no fault of the company's), and they couldn't have been more accomodating. They kept us entertained, gave us a free drink, and when the captain arrived they still took us out for the planned amount of time. So got even more of this wonderful experience than if everything had gone to plan! I'd recommend this to anyone looking to see a bit more of the Whitsundays. Your photos (and memories) will be incredible!

I was looking forward to this cruise being a little more informative about the local area and marine life.. I felt it was a more of a party boat and the encouragement of alcohol was primary focus. Strict rules were expected of guests around food safety which was good however a staff member was handling food with his bare hands..

A magical evening sailing and watching the sunset aboard the Lady Enid, the view is spectacular. It was one of those pinch me moment in life that happens very rarely. Highly recommend doing this as it’s becomes one of life’s treasured memories. Thank you to to the crew for a great evening Regards Sharon and Phil

My friend and I had a girls weekend away and we went in the sundowner. We had an amazing time so much fun. Great atmosphere, music and the sunset was beautiful. I would do it again. Highly recommend!

The staff were fabulous and cruising on the boat was very easy. I worried I might be seasick but the boat was very stable the whole time. The best end to my holiday.
