Aeodrome of Lagos is just off the EN125 on the East side of Lagos. Follow the Aerodrome sign board. You can also meet us at the launchsite which will be confirmed the day before, depending on wind direction.

With no ties, destination and time limitations we ride the winds of the barrocal valleys in the western Algarve or the warmer breezes of the rolling hills of the Baixo Alentejo. Travelling at the same speed as the wind you will enjoy a sensation of unique privilege and experience absolute silence . Hopping over the inland hills, lakes and villages you will explore the Algavian hidden countryside. Progressing onwards to viewing the entire Algarve at high altitude. Exploring local agriculture and economy. Finally approaching the pictureresque coastline and it´s fishing villages for a tranquil landing. With such a diverse landscape, a 1 hour of flight time will leave memories that will last a lifetime. The flight is about 1 hour but The whole trip can take 3-5 hours … Whether a birthday, anniversary, important occasion or even a “must do” … we promise all our passengers a wonderful time!

Balloon flights require you standing and being able to walk out of a field. We will however endeavour to assist should this be required. You must not fly if you are suffering from any serious medical condition or have recently undergone surgery unless you have a certificate of fitness to fly from your doctor. You must not fly if you are pregnant or under the influence of alcohol or drugs. For operational purposes there will a surcharge for passengers whose weight exceeds 100kg, if you think this may be the case please call us.

I unequivocally recommend this experience. This is coming from someone who watches his spending and is somewhat afraid of heights. The countryside is beautiful and the pilot and equipment are top notch. Our pilot, Helena, demonstrated her years of experience through her careful preparation and command of the balloon. She is a great communicater. Her calm, confident demeanor was infectious. If you plan to only take one hot air balloon ride in your life, take this one.
