What to expect
Aquaria Thermal SPA
Admire the world-famous Thermal Baths of Sirmione with sulfate-containing water from an underwater spring. See the terrace and the gardens
Villa di Maria Callas
Among the antique trees of via Catullo, in the heart of the peninsula of Sirmione, you can spot a beautiful yellow villa that belonged to Maria Callas, the first star of the opera world. She spent plenty of time in the 50’s in the Sirmione villa of her husband, the wealthy businessman Giovan Battista Meneghini. Our skipper will explain this and other stories of the villa and his owners.
Grotte di Catullo
You will see the archaeological park from outside. Situated within a vast oliveto-grove, are the remains of a large Roman villa, known for centuries as “grotte di Catullo”, at the extreme tip of Sirmione peninsula, is the most important example of a high-class residence in the whole of northern Italy.
Hotel Fonte Boiola
Pass by the amazing thermal hotel and admire the gardens and the big swimming pool.
Castello Scaligero
You'll see the famous Castello Scaligero (Scaliger Castle) in Sirmione. This is an extraordinary example of lakeside fortification and one of the most spectacular and best-preserved Scaliger fortresses. Built in the 14th century, the castle takes its name from the Della Scala family who dominated Verona and the surrounding areas. The castle has a dock that still encloses a small part of the lake today.
