È una visita ricca di spunti e di informazioni che permettono di rendersi conto della trasformazione del sito durante le diverse epoche (lucana, greca, romana). La chiarezza della guida ha permesso di appropriarsi di queste informazioni senza sforzo (le informazioni ricevute non sono state troppe né troppo poche). Consiglierei a chi fa questa visita di abbinare la visita al sito di Paestum a quella di uno dei caseifici locali dove si può assaggiare il formaggio fresco appena prodotto. Anche ai primi di settembre, sono indispensabili crema solare e vestiti leggeri.
