Such an amazing experience! I went out on the early morning trip. The weather was cool but beautiful, but I was rugged up in the wetsuit and jacket and feeling fine. It didn’t take us long to find dolphins and whales! So many whales! Such a joy to have them swimming around us and under/alongside the vessel! Thanks to the very knowledgeable Lachlan and Abby. The trip back to shore was exhilarating and so much fun! I highly recommend this tour for a genuine experience. A very ethical company and I loved that we were a small group.

An absolutely amazing experience swimming with the whales - being up so close in the sea with them. To have the whales constantly breaching was just incredible they were happy displaying their skills spinning 360 degrees and exploding as high as they could out of the sea making the biggest slash they could for us. Stunning experience. So peaceful under the water with many species of colourful fish to see, the movements of the underwater sea grass and the motions of the surf. The boat favourite was definitely the graceful turtles. Amazing, beautiful turtles in their natural habitat. Highly recommend the Cooly Eco team, Cass and Joel looked after all our needs and ensured everyone was comfortable in the water. We loved hearing the turtle stories, and importantly ways to keep marine life safe and our oceans thriving.

I had a fantastic experience on this whale-watching trip! We saw many whales, although we couldn't swim with them as they stayed a bit far from the boat. The sea was quite rough, causing some seasickness, but the friendly team assisted us throughout. The captain shared insightful knowledge about the whales. I'd love to do it again on a day when the whales are closer and the ocean is calmer!

Had a great day with Joel and Julia today on the water.
We booked a whale swim. We did get a brief swim which I wish had been longer but at the end of the day you need to keep in mind that the whales are wild and it's up to them if they feel like playing ball.
We had plenty above water encounters with the whales and the Cooly team did everything in their power to make it a great experience

To swim with whales is undoubtedly a remarkable, intimate experience you won’t soon forget. Cooly Eco Adventures is the first operator on the Gold Coast to offer swimming with whales and it is our prime objective to give you that experience in a safe and environmentally conscious way.
We do everything we can to maximise your chance of swimming with whales but what you must understand is; we don’t swim with whales, the whales swim with us. While we guarantee whale sightings, we cannot guarantee your swim with them; the time they spend with us or the proximity they will come.
