Our tour/driver didn’t show up. We contacted the local office but nobody was there to answer. After two hours, we requested a cancellation throughout Viator. Our whole day was spoiled. Terrible experience. Very unprofessional behavior from the local company!

Seth did a great job of making this trip exactly what I wanted. He even pivoted when we had an incorrect meeting address. I have amazing memories and pictures from a foreign land and felt safe doing it with an experienced local.

Had a fantastic experience contracting City Unscripted for my day trip to Potsdam. Seth was superb. Good communication prior to the date. Flexible with the itinerary to ensure we see and do the things that I am interested in. Totally went with my pace, maintained great conversations with just the right blend of history culture and fun. Found us a killer lunch spot and gave some additional suggestions for things to do based on my personal likes. Couldn’t imagine a better way to spend a day. Wish I had a friend like Seth in every city that I travel to. Cheers!

Our guide never showed up. We were at the agreed pick up point 10 min early and waited 30 minutes. I sent the guide 2 texts and never heard a word. This tour cost $435.25 and I expect to get a refund. So far I’m not getting any help. I tried to contact Viator at the time and City Scape but couldn’t reach anyone. Extremely angry!!! I want my money back. The guide didn’t show or contact me!!!!!

Walid was an excellent tour guide for our one day trip to Potsdam, we learned about the castles and history of Fredrick Wilhem I-IV. We were able to see the small towns from Berlin to Potsdam while on the train and also took the subway in Berlin. A great day trip with a lot of history and a cute town with beautiful castles to enjoy.

Haydee was an excellent tour guide. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and learned so much. Potsdam was an adorable town and the castles and gardens were extraordinary. I highly recommend the tour and Haydee as the guide. The one thing someone considering the tour should be aware of is the amount of walking required. We tracked our steps and walked about 5-6 miles during the tour.

This is a terrible tour. Our guide insisted that she was just a hostess. She had no information about the city or the palace. She googled things when we asked her any questions. This is after we had filled out a questionnaire about what we were looking for in a guide. She was awful as a hostess too, she had no idea where she was going and kept asking people along the way. We could have done that on our own. What a waste of money and a lost opportunity for our kids to learn about Potsdam.

Had a wonderful day trip to Potsdam. Took the train in from Berlin and then a bus to Sanssouci Palace and gardens. Could have spend the entire day wandering these incredible gardens. Did not tour the palace (closed on a Monday) but we didn’t plan on doing that anyway. After 2-3 hours in the gardens we took a bus to the Old Town and walked along the road filled with quaint shops. Bought some lovely authentic German made Christmas ornaments as gifts and for ourselves. Had dinner at a charming Italian restaurant and slowly meandered our way back to the train station. A lovely day and a wonderful way to close out our week in Berlin.

My friends and I did a walking tour of Potsdam with Yan as our Tour Guide. I knew from the beginning that I would be thoroughly entertained as Yan has an incredible sense of humor. What I was even more impressed with was his incredible historical knowledge of the Fredricks and Wilhems, the architecture of Potsdam and German history overall. It was a fascinating day and I'm so glad that I took this tour.
