Taylor was exceptional! Friendly, knowledgeable, a fabulous spokesperson for the outstanding food in Memphis! She took great care of our tour group of 8. I would highly recommend the tour and would do it again!

Taylor was a great tour leader. She took us to lots of different places for many foods of Memphis. She also gave us a history lesson of the area. She was very knowledgeable and professional.

Harper, our tour guide, was born and raised in Memphis, and is also a barbecue expert, in fact he both competes in and judges barbecue competitions. The food was amazing and included ribs (of course), wings, BBQ spaghetti (yes it's a thing in Memphis), BBQ nachos, and gumbo. Harper was amazing and the tour included lots of insights and history of Memphis. He gave us tourist tips and restaurant recommendations, we tried one (Flights) and it was one of the best meals we ever had. Highly recommend this tour!

Great tour. Minimal walking we were worried because another review said it was 2 miles of walking. It was closer to 2 blocks. Our elderly parents that don't get around very well made it just fine. Tour guide was great. It was a lot of food, but was well spaced out.

From the first moment Taylor introduced herself I knew she was going to be a great guide. She is knowledgeable, outgoing, and so enthusiastic about the food and history of Memphis. We went to 5 different places on Beale Street and each stop was as good as the next. We started with fried double cheeseburgers and ended with a generous piece of fudge. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to sample the foods that Memphis is known for.

My husband and I did the bbq tasting tour. We really loved trying all the different types of barbecue cuisine (including ribs, chicken wings, spaghetti, nachos, pizza, and gumbo!). It did include a fair amount of walking, but the tour had a lot of small stops to learn about the history, the culture, and to get recommendations for other places to go. If you are taking a longer trip, do this early because you’ll find more places you want to go that the tour doesn’t get to. Our tour was a little small, which meant we could really get to know each other. It also lasted a little longer than advertised. The length didn’t bother us at all because it was all fun, interesting, and tasty, but it might be worthwhile to leave yourself some buffer time after the tour (or let the guide know if you’re on a tight schedule). Overall it was one of our favorite food tours we’ve done. You could really tell that our guide (Harper) knew the city, and it’s cuisine and it’s people well, and that he not only really loves Memphis, but that he loves sharing it with other people!

We did the taste of Memphis last year with my sisters and their husband's and enjoyed it immensely. Our cousin wanted to celebrate his wife's birthday so we suggested going back to Memphis, since we had such a great time before . The experience was just as fun it was before. We had Taylor again and she is truly the BEST!!
