    Food was great. Thought there would be more seafood. The Axe Cave was our least favorite not very unique for a Galveston restaurant Rachel was knowledgeable about Galveston. It is a little awkward when she stands by your table while you are eating. Overall it was fun. Thanks for the tour!

    The tour was sub par. The food did not represent the island.. instead we had eclectic and under whelming meals. The best spot was the Hearsay restaurant; here the bread pudding was lovely and the alcoholic beverage was blackberry deliciousness. The tour guide spent much of her time talking of her family and interjecting into conversations amongst the rest of the group. Ultimately it was over priced and mediocre.

    My husband and I signed up for this food tour but since it was our first food tour we weren’t sure what it was going to be like. We had the best time!!! Our guide was Rachel. She was awesome! She told us so much about Galveston and The Strand area specifically. She took us to five restaurants and none of the food disappointed. We loved two of the restaurants so much that we went back to them for full meals later in the trip. It was our anniversary and the final restaurant even added a sparkler to our dessert to make it even more special. We would totally recommend this food tour to anyone! Also, add the photo package. It is nice to have someone else documenting the event for you so you can just be free to enjoy the evening!

    We had a really nice tour with Rachel to at least five places to sample food and were full after. We appreciated the history of Galveston by our tour guide who you could early tell had a passion for what she does. A few people interrupted bits of the tour to pester our guide but we had a good time. If you are ever thinking of doing a food tour somewhere just do it!
