Every stop brought history to life by Paul’s expansive knowledge of the Beatles and that era. We were transported back in time.

We had Moses as our tour guide! We booked this tour last minute so wasn’t sure what to expect! But we were pleasantly surprised with not only all the stops he took us to, but his knowledge of all things Beatles was excellent!! Plus he gave us some insight on London as we drove! He took pictures of us, videos of us and was very attentive to us! Whoever is lucky enough to book this tour I hope you get Moses as your guide!! He was 5 star all the way!!

Highly recommend this tour. I’ve done group tours in the past but having a private tour was another level. The driver Moses was amazing, he was very knowledgeable and had a great sense humour. What I also loved was how he captured all the classic moments by taking photographs for us.

Peter was a wonderful, informative, and knowledgeable guide and made sure we saw everything important about the Beatles! Many of the true facts we had not heard of. Peter made this tour so much fun and will quiz you on facts! He also included information on other artists from the UK. SO COOL and FUN!

I’ve been back in the USA for over a week now and I still can’t stop talking about this adventure. I took my dad for Father’s Day because he is a diehard Beatles fan and we had so much fun. Moses was absolutely wonderful and made us feel like we were back in London during Beatlemania! He also took great photos so our memories will last a life time. MUST DO with Moses while in London!

We booked the Jack the Ripper tour in addition to the Beatles tour. Wonderful communication before our trip. Mick arrived in a very clean and comfortable taxi. He was a wealth of information. He took us to all of the pertinent stops. We got out at the stops and he explained the stop in detail. Mick possesses an incredible personality! This trip was to celebrate our son’s graduation. Our son loved Mick. My only regret is not booking more tours with them.

Paul Williams was amazing. We were extremely impressed with his knowledge of the Beatles. I highly recommend this tour!

My children, grandchildren, and I had the great pleasure of two Black Hat Taxi private tours in London with Tim Brosnan in October 2022, and both were fabulous. Tim is a knowledgeable and very entertaining guide whom I strongly recommend for a great London experience. This review is of the “Beatles with a strong side of Soho Rock & Roll history” tour. If you appreciate the music from London that changed the world in the 1960s and 70s, it’s a tour you don’t want to miss! Tim began the tour in the Marylebone burrough of London with the places where the Beatles made their music and left their mark on pop culture. This included Abbey Road Studios where, after being rejected by many other record labels in London, the Beatles recorded almost every song they made. In addition to the photo op of our walk across Abbey Road, Tim told us stories about the people, music, and cultural influence that came out of this legendary studio. The Beatles part of the tour also took us to the Marylebone train station where my grandkids, kids, and I got a chance to reenact the opening scene from the Beatles movie, A Hard Day’s Night when the Beatles were chased down the street by crazed fans. Watching the video he took of us running down the street will always bring a smile to my face. From there, we went to some of the neighborhoods where the Beatles lived in the 60’s including the house where Ringo lived for a while before John and Yoko moved in as well as where Paul lived when he was dating Jane Asher. Tim brought these homes alive with stories of Paul’s “escape route” out of the Asher house to avoid being attacked by fans, John and Yoko’s nude photo shoot that made it onto the Two Virgins album cover and, best of all for me, Paul McCartney’s home. Sir Paul’s home in St. John’s Wood, I found out, has been his residence in London since the mid-1960s – before Eleanor Rigby – and it remains his London home today. On the sidewalk in front of his house I collected a few leaves that had fallen from a tree on Paul’s property. The leaves are now framed and hung on a wall in my home – a simple-yet-fabulous piece of Beatles memorabilia made possible by Tim’s knowledge and stories of the Beatles. After the Beatles part of the tour, we headed to Soho, which was another hotbed of rock-and-roll in the 1960s. There, we found the pubs and nightlcubs where many of the great bands of that era got their starts including The Who, Jimi Hendrix the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, and the list goes on. Tim also showed us the hidden pubs where these musical greats spent their downtime drinking beer and sharing stories. At the end of it all, my entire family got a real sense of an era when pop culture around the world was being defined at these very spots in London. Tim finished the tour with a stop at 3 Saville Row where the Beatles played their last public concert on the rooftop – a fitting ending for both the Beatles and our tour. In addition to his deep knowledge of that era and the places and people that were part of it, Tim had style and a sense of humor that couldn’t be beat. He connected with my children and grandchildren as he told his stories, and they were enchanted by it all. Maybe his best magic trick was his knowledge of the places where he could park his taxi that, because of London parking rules, others could not. His parking magic ensured that for every place we visited, we had a short walk to see what we had come for. If a tour of the Beatles in London and London’s role in pop culture in the 60s and 70s is of interest to you, there is no better way to do it than with Tim Brosnan as your guide. I’ve been to many countries and taken many guided tours and there were none led by a better guide than Tim Brosnan. He knew what he was doing at every turn, and he conveyed his stories to us in ways that were always both informative and entertaining. If you get a chance to take a ride with Tim, don’t miss it!
