Your Itinerary

Dresden

(Pass by)

Departure from Dresden in a comfortable air-conditioned minivan. A knowledgeable guide will point out interesting places and monuments around which the journey will lead.

Parc National de la Suisse Saxonne

- Bastei Bridge, the oldest tourist attraction in Europe - Neurathen Castle - ruins of medieval castle

Bastei Bridge

You will walk across this magnificent Bridge perched high above the river Elbe. The stunning views will simply take your breath away.

Admission Included

Neurathen Castle

Neurathen Castle, a 13th-century rock fortress, is charmingly perched on a massive sandstone formation right next to the Bastei rock plateau. Since 1851, it has been connected to Bastei by a stone bridge. Founded by the Michalovic family, the castle was held until the late 14th century. However, from the mid-15th century, it was abandoned and ruined, often serving as a refuge for locals during sudden dangers and war threats. In the early 20th century, it was uncovered by archaeological research and underwent comprehensive reconstruction in the 1980s. You will see preserved rock chambers, cisterns, defensive galleries, and signaling fire systems.

Admission Included

Bohemian Switzerland National Park

- Elbe canyon, the largest sandstone canyon in Europe - Kamenice river gorges

Hrensko

(Pass by)

Afterwards, we take a short walk to Hřensko, a small colorful town from where we will head back.

Pravcicka brana - Sokoli hnizdo

The 2km hike navigates us to the Pravcicka Gate. Approaching it from below, you will see the majesty with which it stands at the top of the surrounding landscape. It is the symbol of the Bohemian Swizerland National Park and you will know why, once you see it.

Admission Included

Mezná

After a demanding hike, you need to recharge your batteries, so the next stop will be a traditional Czech and locally renowned restaurant. A rich "a la carte" lunch will be a welcome and well-deserved reward. Traditional Czech and international dishes are served (including vegetarian options). We highly recommend trying Czech beer, which is one of the best in the world. This restaurant is very popular with the locals and has the best reputation in Bohemian Switzerland. We are always very welcome at this restaurant and we have a pre-booked table in the best place that will be waiting for you ready before our arrival. In addition, we have an advantage over other guests in the kitchen, so the wait for food is significantly shorter.

Tisa

Then we will drive you into the Tisa Walls labyrinth, where Chronicles of Narnia was filmed. The rock city with lots of towers, small squares and mysterious corners will win you over with its captivating beauty. Anyone who ventures into the bowels of the rocks to enjoy the extraordinary charm of natural beauty will be rewarded with a nice experience. And as you know, no one can take the experience away from you.

Amazing views even with low visibility. I had a friendly driver, Milan, who picked me up from my accommodation in Dresden on time and had water available - he also dropped me back after the tour was over. The guide, Joe, was very knowledgeable sharing his passion of the area with us. Lunch was amazing with authentic Czech cuisine. Overall, very enjoyable and hassle free

Although I booked this trip we were transferred to a similar trip without the Pravicka Gate as we were told it was closed. Neurathan Castle was also closed. We really enjoyed the Tisa Labyrinth. There was still snow in the gullies. This made it an extra special experience. The lunch was delicious. Lucy, our guide was very flexible. All in all it was a great day.

I did the tour during the fall and the view was amazing! Colorful trees and beautiful golden landscapes along the way. Also the staff was attentive and kind all the time. I really recommend this tour!

Milan and Kamila picked us up at our hotel in Dresden right at 8am. They were friendly and gave us a bit of info about where we were going and how long tobgwr there. Milan dropped us off at the start of each hike (there were 3), and Kamila guided us through while explaining points of interest, letting us take photos and even taking photos for us. She used her phone to take candid shots of us and then sent them to our phones. Lunch was eaten at a nice little restaurant. The food was delicious and the portions were large. I couldn't finish mine even though I wanted to. It's a lot of walking as it is a hiking tour. At the end of the day we were sad it was over but happy that we didn't have to walk anymore. The views are absolutely worth it!

The views were wonderful. The hiking was a little strenuous but manageable and the Stone Castle and Bridge were spectacular. Mira, our guide, personalized the experience for us. Very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We highly recommend this tour.

We had our lovely tourguide, Mira, pick us up at our hotel in Dresden and we drove to the Bastei bridge to meet the other part of the group from Prague. Visited the Kamenice Gorge including a nice short boottrip and had a great lunch together. Afterwards we continued to Pravcicka Gate. Overall we had great trip with beautiful sightseeing and enjoyed the company.

Favourite part was the amazing tour guide. The walks to tour destinations were a little bit of hard but in the end the view was quite deserving.
