    I was born in Brooklyn but had not been back in over 30+ years. After taking Bruce’s amazing Washington-Hamilton Tour, I thought I would see what I could learn and re-learn about Brooklyn. This tour did NOT disappoint! I was so pleased with learning so much new and fascinating history (esp. about the great Brooklyn Bridge) but also experiencing the world-renown views of lower Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty only possible from DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass). I also finally saw the view of the Manhattan Bridge that I have seen in so many movies and car commercials. The finale was seeing the fabulous mansions and townhomes of Brooklyn Heights where so many celebrities live and seeing where the film Moonstruck was set. It was beautiful, quiet- an incredible respite from the noise of the rest of the city and I was fueled by a delicious cold treat from the Jacques Torres chocolate shop that we visited before we went up the hill. It was a great experience. Catch the tour of you can!

    Loved this tour with Bruce! He was very knowledgeable and passionate about Brooklyn and its history. We both learned a ton and had a great time!

    What an amazing tour. The walk across the bridge provided wonderful views of Manhattan and Brooklyn. Our guide Bruce’s rich treasure trove of history, local lore and incredible tidbits of fun information made this experience come alive. Bruce was an engaging and knowledgeable guide and Brooklyn’s history, architecture and sights were fantastic.

    We generally walk over the entire Brooklyn Bridge from Manhattan to Brooklyn.

    We walk through some of the beautiful Brooklyn Bridge Park on the tour and see much of it from above.

    We walk through much of DUMBO on the tour.
