    We had been meaning to take this tour for a while, and it didn't disappoint! Ramona was a fantastic tour guide and tailored the tour to our interests, using specialty knowledge of hers (music publishing and entertainment history). It would have taken extensive research to find out some of the things we learned on this tour, and instead we had a nice day outside! Thanks Ramona!

    We had a wonderful experience on this walking tour with Ramona as our guide. She was truly knowledgeable and informative about this area and she had a fun personality that added to the New York experience. If we had walked these streets on our own, we would not have had the feeling of understanding the history in the same way, if we had not been with a walking tour. This tour company was very good about keeping in touch with us and making sure we met up with our guide at the right place and the right time. We would love to do more tours with this company. We were a Grandmother, daughter and two 13 yr old granddaughters, and everyone enjoyed the afternoon.

    My guide, Ramona, was friendly and well-informed. She provided details about buildings and their deep and rich histories. I could sense her love for the neighborhood and passion for historic preservation of the district. This was one of the best guided tours I ever had. I can't wait to take her tour again!

    This was a great experience! Our guide Ramona is obviously very passionate about history and particularly about this area. She is very knowledgeable en enthusiastic. She really made the history come to life. We can highly recommend this tour and this tour guide. Keep up the good work, Ramona!

    Meeting point is at the Confucius Statue at Confucius Plaza, corner of Bowery and Division Street

    We'll stop at the entrance to Doyers Street, aka Murder Alley and the Bloody Angle during the 19th Century

    We'll pass by the Triumphal Arch and Colonnade of the Manhattan Bridge, we'll stop to talk about the Original Diamond District on Bowery and Canal, the old Citizens Bank Building, Confucius Plaza and former sights of the German Winter Garden and Windsor Theatre

    We will stop near the old Bowery Ballroom, one of the last music vestiges of the Bowery, we'll also talk about the old LIncoln Hotel, former site of one of the Germania Bank Buildings and more

    We will stop near the Bowery Poetry Club and talk about the Punk Rock era of Bowery. Right across the street was the location of the famous CBGB's. We are not far from Electric Ladyland and former residence of Deborah Harry (Blondie)

    As we approach the Cooper Union Foundation Building we will also have a few stops along Cooper Square including the old Village Voice Building, Carl Fischer Music Building, McSorley's Ale House, and more
