    This was the third Mountain Goat Trip that my husband and I took on our two week holiday to the Lake District and it did not disappoint. This time we went on the High Adventure which covered the less busy Western area of the lakes. I was a bit dubious about booking because I am bit nervous with scarey roads but I need not have worried. Our driver, Tony, was so calm and reassuring and he was such an experienced, careful driver that he set my mind at rest. It was a wonderful opportunity to see this area as it is not possible to access it by buses and Tony told us lots of information along the way about the various locations. We made lots of stops to expolore and stretch our legs and it really was an enjoyable day. We saw so much and the scenery was magnificent.

    We went on this tour on 11.08.2024 with Tony and we had a wonderful time. Although roads look scary I felt safe safe with Tony who was not only a great driver but also was very patient and respectful with other drivers and especially Sunday ones. We learned a lot about visited spots and we pass through scenic and unforgettable landscapes. Highly recommend this tour.

    We appreciated most the breath-taking views from Wrynose and Hardknott passes, and the skillful driving of our guide round hairpin bends! We had a delicious lunch in the hotel at Boot and enjoyed our trip on the little steam train from Ravenglass.

    Went on this tour this week and I highly recommend. Our driver Tony, was very knowledgeable, an excellent driver and made frequent stops for photo opportunities. The views at the top of each Pass were awesome. The roads are very steep but I felt safe at all times. We stopped for lunch at a lovely Inn and visited a Bird of prey display before going on a short steam train ride at the end of the day.
