    It was even better than I expected. The actors were great with the information they gave . I learned so much from them.!

    It was stupid. You walked down a long twisting hallway with pictures on the wall. There were a few pointless dioramas and artistic interpretations. The whole thing felt like a rich middle schooler's poster board display project thrown together half heatedly to meet a rapidly approaching assignment deadline. It was like "here let me show you pictures of my grandkids and their artwork," except their grandkids were the Titanic. Do not get me started on the "Passenger Ticket" to see of you lived or died to generate false excitement. I little part of me died going to this abysmal place. This museum needs to be relocated two miles below the surface of the cold waters of the North Atlantic Ocean. The best part was the view from outside the museum but you get that for free just walking by.

    All of it!!! It was way more amazing then we thought it would be! The staff were very friendly and where always around if we had questions.

    Really enjoyed the grand staircase, the time costumes for the employees onboard and the seat of showcase of items and lastly i really the information staff shared.

    The main reason for this getaway weekend visit and worth it! - - - - - - - - August, 2024 Visit My wonderful wife and I enjoyed a fantastic getaway weekend to Springfield and Branson… 47 hours of fun! The main purpose of this trip was to visit the Titanic Museum, which we have seen for years but somehow had not yet visited. We’re glad we attended. First and foremost this is a memorial to those who died that night… the Titanic struck the iceberg at 11:40pm local time Sunday, April 14, 1912 and sunk at 2:20am Monday, April 15, 1912. Of the 2,240 passengers, 706 survived and 1,534 perished. The docent in the music room played a song and then shared how none of us can fully appreciate what happened… and like adults appreciate parenthood once it happens, differently than they looked at parents when they were kids… perhaps a visit to the Titanic Museum helps appreciate those who lived and those who died. A variety of exhibits help us appreciate: - the construction of the Titanic and her sister ship, the Olympic, in Ireland, in video and in an IMPRESSIVELY large and well detailed model that was built over two years’ time by the model builder - Perspectives from those who sailed… words shared by survivors, including a priest’s poetic prayers - The comparative luxury offered even third-class passengers - The wall of names of the passengers - Images from the Woods Hold Institute visits when they discovered the Titanic - the pitch of the deck as it rose vertically in its sinking - the cold cold cold bucket of 28-degree water… how long can you keep your hand(s) in it? - the full-side propeller hanging above the entrance - the graciousness of all those working there The museum is focused on the ship and the memorial to its passengers. The movie is one of the best of all time; the scene at the front of the ship, the “I’m flying Jack! I’m flying!” scene is from the movie, is officially fictitious, and is thereby not available…but that would be the only way I can think of to improve this museum… and yet I wonder if such a scene, for us to re-enact, and/or to photograph / capture a short video… may detract from the respectful, insightful, energizing memorial that this. Thank you, Titanic Museum, Branson! ----- -----
